Designated Employee Trainer (8/28/06 - to date)
* Developed and implemented a plastic extrusion training program utilizing class
room, powerpoint, Paulson online, and on-the-job training. Forklift training. *
Involved in evaluating safety procedures. Write and update company procedures.
* Moderated training progress, evaluated test and performance scores, wrote trai
ning manuals, evaluated and updated training procedures.
* Acted as a consultant for new projects and procedures (new materials, new equi
pment, new software implementation, project research, etc).
* Recommended advancement of employees to the Operations Manager for line monito

ting of plastic sheet extrusion lines.

* Maintained the technical aspect of the plastic sheet extrusion line.

* Trained eight employees in this position.
Resins handler (9/3/90 - 6/3/91)
* Developed the resin handler position to setup blenders, supply material to the
lines, and handled the changing of materials on lines.
* Assisted operators by running lines while operators were on breaks as well as
assisting with changeovers between orders.
* Premixed materials for production lines.
* Trained twelve other employees in this position after development.
Material handler (10/9/89 - 9/3/90)
* Packaged finished goods and assisted operators with take-off equipment (shears
, winders, sheeters, and stacking tables)
* Setup and ran edgetrim, angle cut, speed of sheeter, and watch for defects.
* Moved and weighed finished products utilizing a fork truck and various scales.
* Operated a pelletizer to convert flake regrind into usable pellets to increase
quality and throughput of extruders.
Village of Westfield
Public Works Director (Aug 1988 - June 1989)
* Ran a waste water treatment plant for the Village of Westfield.
* Delegated work to the city crew in the public works department
* Reported progress of operation to the village board members.
* Handled snow removal, cemetery and public parks upkeep, public building mainte
nance, road repairs, and garbage removal.
* Performed daily tests on treatment plant effluent water for chlorine and micro
organism levels. Reported findings to the State for evaluation.
