Inventory Manager/Production Coordinator (2006 - 2009)
* Promoted to take control of warehouse with 6000 items and an inventory system
in total disarray, where locating a part often took up to 2 days. Also charged w
ith coordinating production/manufacturing of commercial and aerospace parts and
components. Managed staff of 4 and coordinated 130 plant employees.
Key Accomplishments:
* Completely reorganized warehouse equipment and tools, introducing use of Micro
soft Excel to track parts and control inventory.
* Initiated standardized system to maintain operating condition of tools, includ
ing regularly inspecting and evaluating parts for repair or replacement. Ensured
tools were always in good working order.
* Set up process to check tools/equipment in and out of warehouse, reducing the
number of lost or missing tools.
* Used 5-S/LEAN principles to streamline procurement/delivery process, from list
of needs provided by Production Manager to search process to order processing b
y Machine Tool Shop. Slashed production time in half and saved $thousands for co
mpany and customers.
Mill & Lathe Operator (1985 - 2006)
Used precision equipment to produce parts for manufacturing, supporting clients
in aerospace, military, optical and semi-conductor fields. Consistently designe
d new tools or processes to make very expensive parts better and faster.

* Gulfstream: Reduced manufacturing time from 28 to 12 hours per part for 300-pa
rt order from this leading firm. Produced savings of $888K savings on just 1 ord
er, greatly improving client relationship and leading to additional orders.
* ATK: Invented method for Tempco to use 1 tool instead of 4 to fulfill a parts
order for this major military supplier. Saved $2MM for Tempco and resulted in AT
K's orders increasing from 50 parts to 250 parts.
