As an experienced CFO/Controller I offer a vast number of proven
accomplishments in the form of successfully directing initiatives and
objectives across diverse environments, delivering valuable business
savvy, facilitating high growth results, tapping into honed technical
and strategic acumen to support the ability to obtain financial
goals, and overcoming hurdles through outstanding troubleshooting,
analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Most recently, while serving as the Controller/CFO for Inalfa Roof
Systems, Inc., I directed financial operations during a high growth
stage for the company; managed contribution P&L performance for the
US finance division; oversaw the management of various financial
aspects including but not limited to budgets, reporting functions,
AP, invoicing/write-offs, accruals, and risk management. I also
orchestrated the financial package that was provided to headquarters.
Other key contributions made there in short order include the
following:
* Facilitated significant growth in revenue via delivery of
accurate data to sales group.
* Recognized for guiding significant cost savings via vast array of
suggestions.
* Conducted internal audit process and review resulting in
discovery of personal property tax errors.
* Led decline of 90+ day receivables from 20% down to 5% total
receivables outstanding.
* Contributed to purchase of local supplier (metal stamping).
* Successfully reduced month-end closing cycle from 25 days to 3
days.
My prior roles included additional leadership roles orchestrating
the oversight of financial operations. As Assistant Controller with
John M. Olson Co. (a $100 million company), I oversaw billing /
collection functions, union payroll, fringe benefit reporting, GL
reconciliations / journal entries and even implemented and maintained
the LAN. Prior to that, as a Controller with Producers, Inc. (a $3
million company) I effectively directed all financial aspects,
oversaw the financial staff, managed quarterly audits, and much more.
The results I have obtained that are not quantifiable would include
the spirit of teamwork / cooperation generated and key outcomes of my
specific management style. My hands-on approach has been key in my
ability to refine operations and take organizations to the next level
in managing financial operations and keeping pace with growth.
