Competition Guidelines

General Programming

The competition is open to all students enrolled in a Computing Science Course in any College or University in the Region Each participating school must send 1 group consisting of three (3) members Only the 1st year and 2nd year students can join the contest Participants must wear their School ID for identity Participants have the freedom to choose their language from Java, C++, C or VB Console. Available software/compilers are: Visual Studio 6.0 and 2005, Netbeans and DevC++ Participants are given two hours to finish the program. In case the participants need to install other software, they must inform the organizers on or before March 1, 2011. The contestants are given 2 hours to complete the task. The decision of the board of judges if final and irrevocable.

Use of Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing software is allowed in the enhancement of the objects for animation. Participants are given two hours to finish the project. In case the participants need to install other software, they must inform the organizers on or before March 1, 2011. The decision of the board of judges if final and irrevocable.

Best IT Projects

Vocal Solo

The competition is open to all students enrolled in a Computing Science Course in any College or University in the Region Each participating school must send 1 group of graduating students with their thesis project. Participants must wear their School ID for identity Participants will be asked to present their project focusing on usefulness, innovativeness, and technical considerations. Participants are given 20 mines to present their project and judges may ask followup questions. Participants must bring their own gadgets, computer and other materials needed for their presentation. The decision of the board of judges if final and irrevocable. The competition is open to all students enrolled in a Computing Science Course in any College or University in the Region Each participating school shall send one participant only. The piece must be a Pop English or Filipino The participant shall be accompanied by a minus-one CD, which may or may not have back-up singers. Multiplex, however is not allowed. Rendition is limited to five (5) minues only The decision of the board of judges if final and irrevocable. The competition is open to all students enrolled in a Computing Science Course in any College or University in the Region Each participating school must send 1 pair of either male-female, both male or both female. The piece must be a Pop English or Filipino The participant shall be accompanied by a minus-one CD, which may or may not have back-up singers. Multiplex, however is not allowed.
