Wireless-B Network Access Point
The Compex WP11B+ Wireless LAN access point is a cost effective and simple-to-install access point. With a web-based management interface, it can be configured easily. In addition, it can also be configured locally or remotely. Built with Pseudo VLAN Segmentation technology, it provides wireless clients with added privacy in addition to the standard 64-bit or 128bit Wire Equivalent Privacy (WEP) data encryption. This feature is especially useful in public hotspots deployment. With the support for industry-standard IEEE 802.1x authentication, wireless clients are able to authenticate themselves through the legitimate RADIUS server to the authorized network securely. Compex WP11B+ is designed with a connector that allows the connection of to an external antenna for a more comprehensive wireless network coverage. Compex WP11B+ can function in 6 different modes, namely, Access Point Bridge mode, Access Point Client Mode, Gateway mode, Wireless Routing Gateway mode, Wireless Ethernet Adapter and Wireless Bridge Link Mode. This makes WP11B+ an ideal solution for wireless networking.
Pseudo Virtual LAN Compex unique Wireless Pseudo Virtual LAN technology is a feature that allows a wireless client or groups of wireless client to be segmented wirelessly into its individual workgroup or individual node thus enhancing the privacy of the wireless clients. This is especially useful in public hotspot deployment. Wireless Routing Gateway Capability The Wireless Routing Gateway mode enables Internet Service Provider (ISP) or offices to send their data packet wirelessly and these network packets will be routed to a wire Local Area Network via the WP11B+. Wireless Bridge Link Capability This mode allows connecting of remote networks together through dedicated Pointto-Point bridging solutions. Secured Wireless Authentication The Compex WP11B+ supports the IEEE 802.1x-based Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) for secure and centralized user-based authentication. The wireless clients are now able to authentication through a RADIUS server to the authorized network through these authentication methods like EAP-TLS, EAPTTLS, EAP-MD5 and PEAP-MS CHAP v2 and LEAP.
Wireless Ethernet Adapter

The Wireless Ethernet Adapter mode enables any computers with an Ethernet interface to be connected to the wireless LAN without the need to install any driver software. This is extremely useful for machines with limited driver support, e.g. Apple Macintosh machines and Linux machines. Universal Configuration Software Compex uConfig software allows users to get onto the web based configuration interface of WP11B+ without the need to further manipulate the TCP/IP setup of the workstation. Web-based Management Interface Embedded with a HTTP server allows the configuration of the WP11B+ features via a user friendly web-based management interface. In addition, firmware upgrade can be done through this interface as well. Optional External Antenna The optional iWavePort Indoor Range Extender (WA-HGA-5+) allows wider wireless coverage and better performance when used together with the NetPassage WP11B+.

It supports a wide range of IEEE 802.1x authentication methods like EAP-TLS, EAPTTLS, EAP-MD5, PEAP MS-CHAP v2 and LEAP for strong mutual authentication that ensure only legitimate clients associate with legitimate and authorized network RADIUS server.
