PEDIATRIC NORMAL MACROS EXAM: MRI BRAIN WITH AND /OR WITHOUT IV CONTRAST MEDIUM.

CLINICAL HISTORY: COMPARISON: TECHNIQUE: Multiplanar, multi sequence MRI of the brain was performed. FINDINGS: The gray and white matter is of normal signal intensity with no focal lesion. No mass, mass effect, edema or calcification is seen. The white matter myelination is normal for age. There is no evidence of volume loss or migrational abnormality. The ventricles and extra-axial spaces are normal. The pituitary gland and optic nerves are normal. The intracranial blood vessels are normal. IMPRESSION: Normal MRI of the brain.

EXAM: CT OF THE HEAD WITHOUT CONTRAST. CLINICAL HISTORY: COMPARISON: None TECHNIQUE: Routine tomographic images of the brain are obtained from the skull base to the vertex without intravenous contrast. FINDINGS: The gray-white matter attenuation is normal with no focal mass, mass effect or calcification. The ventricles and extra-axial spaces are normal. No evidence of hemorrhage is seen. The soft tissue and the bony structures are normal. The sinuses are clear. IMPRESSION: Normal CT of the head.

Spine pediatric normal macro EXAM: SPINE MRI WITHOUT/WITH CONTRAST. CLINICAL HISTORY: COMPARISON: TECHNIQUE: Spine MRI * FINDINGS: Cervical spine: The vertebra and intervertebral disks are of normal height and signal intensity. There is no formation or segmentation anomaly. The spinal cord is normal in signal intensity with no syrinx. No spinal canal mass or mass effect is identified. There is no paraspinal mass. The visualized posterior fossa is normal. Thoracic spine: The vertebra and intervertebral disks are of normal height and signal intensity. There is no formation or segmentation anomaly. The spinal cord is normal in signal intensity with no syrinx. No spinal canal mass or mass effect is identified. There is no paraspinal mass. Lumbar spine: The spinal cord terminates at *. The filum is normal. The vertebra and intervertebral disks are of normal height and signal intensity. There is no formation or segmentation anomaly. The spinal cord is normal in signal intensity with no syrinx. No spinal canal mass or mass effect is identified. There is no paraspinal mass. IMPRESSION: Normal study of the spine.

EXAM: MRI FACE/ NECK WITH AND WITHOUT CONTRAST. CLINICAL HISTORY: COMPARISON: TECHNIQUE: MRI face/ neck was obtained with and without IV contrast. FINDINGS: Soft tissue structures including the airways are normal. There is no mass or mass-effect. There is no cystic lesion or fluid collection. The visualized brain and spinal cord is normal. IMPRESSION: Normal study of the face/ neck.

EXAM: CT TEMPORAL BONES WITHOUT CONTRAST. CLINICAL HISTORY: COMPARISON: TECHNIQUE: Routine CT temporal bones was obtained. FINDINGS: Right temporal bone: No erosion of the ossicles is seen. The external auditory canal appears normal. The ossicles are normally aligned. The oval window and the round window also appear normal. The inner ear structures including IAC, normally partitioned cochlea, normal volume modiolus, vestibule, semicircular canals and vestibular aqueduct appear normal. Left temporal bone: The left temporal bone appears normal with no evidence of cholesteatoma. The visualized brain is normal. Moderate mucosal thickening is noted in the maxillary sinuses bilaterally. IMPRESSION: Normal CT of the temporal bones.
