Have some fun this February Half Term Holiday!
Leisure Services are offering a range of exciting activities designed to keep everyone entertained over February Half Term. Sport and Leisure are piloting some new activities free of charge so make the most of these this February Half Term. Don't forget to use your Wild Card for the South Charnwood, Loughborough and Soar Valley Leisure Centre activities. New activities will be available in the Easter and Summer programmes for you to get even more from your Wild Card! Activities include Multi Sport activities, Orienteering, Sports Leadership course and something for the parents. Dont forget about our free Play Ranger Tour! Theyll be just as action packed as last year offering sports, crafts, and games for all the family.
HOW TO BOOK

The award gives people aged 16 and over the skills needed to lead groups in safe sporting and recreational activity. It encourages participants to take responsibility for others, develops organisational and communication skills and instils confidence in people for whom leading groups in sporting activities is a new experience.The majority of the course is practical in nature with an emphasis on learning through doing, rather than through written work. Try and complete this giant floating obstacle course as quick as you can, race a friend and slide down into the water.The Twin Track has two obstacle courses side by side, starting from the shallow end of the pool make your way along the track to the large slide at the deep end. A nature walk using our senses to explore the meadows and woods of Dishley Pool Wildlife Area. Come prepared to smell, look, feel and listen to nature - but probably not taste unless you bring a snack! Boots or wellies and warm clothing recommended.
