Compared to 2009, there is an exceptional increase in reporting in Brazil, and a small decrease in the number of reports from Australia. There is steady growth in USA and a small growth in India & China.

The majority of SMEs that have issued a GRI report in the past three years have been based in Europe. There is a steady increase in SME reporting in Latin America and North America. Africa, Asia and Oceania are lagging behind.
