Job Description of Marketing Manager Would be overall responsible and accountable for the strategic planning and budgeting

of the marketing and communication activities in the organization. The detailed and specific tasks are outlined below. 1. To devise, supervise and review the implementation of all the promotional activities in terms of events, campaigns and marketing collaterals in a timely, cost saving and maintenance and adherence to high quality standards. 2. To conduct market research to determine market requirements for the existing and future products and analyze the findings and extend suggestions. 3. To involve in the analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information. Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services 4. To manage and be accountable for the productivity of all the marketing plans and projects. 5. To determine and manage the marketing budget. 6. To develop the pricing strategy along with the sales department colleagues. 7. To effectively liaise with the media and advertising agencies, and ensure a good mix of ROI on the marketing plans get implemented aimed to improving the sales growth. 8. To deliver the marketing activity within the agreed budgets. 9. To achieve frequent timely and positive media coverage across the available media. 10. To develop and implement a company wide plan to push products and work along with other departments for its effective execution. 11. To develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department. This should detail the years activity to meet the agreed companys objectives. 12. To manage all aspects of print production, receipts and proper distribution in terms of labels, posters, danglers, props, etc for all the SKUs in the organization. 13. Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors as and when applicable. 14. To build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on delivery to customers, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity. 15. To proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all the support departments. 16. To also work closely in establishing effective corporate communications, and branding for the organization. 17. Should be mobile and connect with field staff to ensure proper placement of the products. 18. To be overall responsible for improving brand share. 18. Any other assignment extended by the management based on business need.
