Project: 1 Enterprise Provider Data System (EPDS)

Through its nationwide networks, the company delivers a number of leading health benefit solutions through a broad portfolio of integrated health care plans and related services, along with a wide range of specialty products such as life and disability insurance benefits, pharmacy benefit management, dental, vision, behavioral health benefit services, as well as long term care insurance and flexible spending accounts. Project Description :

Supporting the BCC & Unicare Provider systems in production. The current scope is to respond to the requirements of changes or enhancements to the present NMS & WMS systems raised by Well Point Users and Business community of Provider systems using a Change management tool - Clear Quest (CQ) or in the form of an SSCR, and performing analysis, design, coding and testing as requested.

Responsibilities: As Developer, worked in the Enterprise Provider Data System (EPDS) Lights On team in offshore and supported the production issues and Change requests successfully.  Provided technical support and solutions to the change requests received from onsite POC.  Performed Analysis, Coding and testing required as per the functional requirements.  Provided estimates for Development and testing activities and performed peer reviews of RTM, Code and Test activities.  Faced challenges such as tight deadlines, lack of proper documentation to start the development activity, but managed all these issues efficiently and ultimately delivered the end product successfully.  Contributed to the Configuration management activities, such as taking Weekly backups, versioning of the documents in repository.  Taken MOMs of weekly team meetings, and followed all the processes as per the client defined methodologies.

Covered Information. All these information is in DB2 database. 1. Policy details consists policy holder information, type of policy, premium details etc. 2. The coverage Information consists clamant, claim, coverage etc. 3. The covered information consists automobile description that includes vehicle, 3rd party, spare parts information etc. Here we generate the reports in branch and head office on local printers as well as centrally.

3. INTEGRATED CASH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (Ned Core Bank) Ned Bank at the end of day will be sending two files to PROGNIS will having details of closing balances for all its ATM and Branches. Based on this PROGNIS will predict using its own software, how much money will be required by a particular ATM and Branch. File output from PROGNIS will be updated in Teller Treasure Database, which then each Branch can update the predicted information if any by 10 am (next day). The information will be extracted and sent back to PROGNIS in the form of file. This information will be then again forwarded to SBV by PROGNIS to fulfill the Cash Request. After 10 am if any branch or ATM is in need of additional / emergency cash the request will be sent to NEDBANK CASH SETTLEMENT which will manually handle the cash requirement. PROGNIS will be only updated with this information so that it can use this data for its next predictions.
