Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection & mercy, fulfil my joy by being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2: 1-5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. Walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5: 1-2
Thank you to you all, in our church family, for the expressions of loving support, care & concern shown to Keith & me through Keiths recent hospitalisation and resulting recuperation. Your fellowship in the Spirit and your faithful support through prayer was really appreciated; your text messages & phone calls such a constant encouragement; and the practical help given in various ways has been so welcome. You have shown the wonderful expression of the Body of Christ working together in love, and illustrating the message in the Scriptures quoted above. We have seen so many instances of Gods blessing, provision and intervention in situations, with people we met how can we ever doubt that HE is in control. Keith had a good report from the surgeon last week and continues to improve in strength and ability day by day. We hope to be with you in church again soon.
