MASS WITH ANOINTING OF THE SICK We are planning to celebrate the Communal Anointing of the Sick within the context of the Eucharist. The celebration will be held in Church on Wednesday, July 27, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Following Mass there will be a fellowship luncheon for all in the Multi-Purpose Room. We encourage our families to do all they can to assist their sick, elderly and shut-in relatives to attend this Mass. Please spread the word as much as possible, and if there are any difficulties, especially with transportation, call the rectory. Thank you.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION If you have a child who will be attending religious education classes this fall in grades K - Confirmation and have not registered them for the fall, please register them as soon as possible. We are in the process of ordering books and preparing for fall classes to begin! We are still in need of one catechist for 5th grade. Please consider sharing your faith with the children of OLMC. Catechists assist parents in the education of their children in the faith. We are always looking for new, enthusiastic catechists. You do not need experience, only a love of the faith and a love of children. We will train you and assist you in the classroom. If you are a catechist, Echos of Faith classes are scheduled for this Monday, June 28 from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. This is part of the catechist certification process and also will give you ideas to use in your classroom. The next class is scheduled for July 14 and will be given by Fr. Ray on theology. If you have any questions, call me in the office. 825-7609, ext. 105. Peace in Christ Jesus, Sue Berdis, Religious Education Leader TUITION SUNDAY Tuition Sunday collection will be held July 17 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the school lobby.
