The year-on-year inflation rate (annual percentage change) for the month of October 2010 as measured by the all items Consumer Price Index stood at 3.6 percent,
shedding 0.6 percentage points on the September 2010 rate of 4.2 percent.
The month-on-month inflation rate (monthly percentage change) in October 2010 was 0.2 percent, gaining 0.1 percent on the
September 2010 rate of 0.1 percent.
This means that prices as measured by the all items CPI increased by an average of 0.2 percent from September 2010 to October 2010.
The month-on-month Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages inflation stood at 0.40 percent in October 2010 against the September 2010 rate of -0.04 percent.
The month-on-month non-food inflation stood at 0.14 percent, showing no change on the September 2010 rate of 0.40 percent.
The CPI for the month ending October 2010 stood at 95.3 compared to 95.1 in September 2010 and 92.0 in October 2009.
