- Design of Solvent Extraction Equipments (unagitated columns, pulsed columns, mechanically agitated columns, miscellaneous devices etc).Supervision of plant operations-Dissolvers, Extraction Columns, Partitioning Columns, Scrubbers, Stripping Columns, Pot, Thermosyphon type evaporators, Gas scrubbing system, Off gas & effluent treatment. Lot of modification schemes developed/design for off gas treatment, design of liquid transfer systems involving pressure drop assignments (1 & 2 phase), Thermal design of heat exchangers, Thermosyphon evaporator design with air lift & vacuum transfer, Pump hydraulic calculation (process design), Well versed with design of all equipments of plant.
