Most electronic components are sensitive to electrostatic discharge, and latent damage ‘may occur, unless measures are taken In order to prevent this, an ESD wrist strap must be used during the replacement of the module. 1. Switch off DC supply to the terminal. 2. Remove the green connectors on the rear of the terminal. 3. Remove all optical cables. 4. Remove (Draw out) the MPM module, which is placed in the slot $9. 6 7.
