It is interactive. It involves both persons, fully. Persons constantly alternate between being the source and receiver. Receiver can ask for clarifications and question the source. Receiver can add own ideas and views. At the end , both gain information. It requires interpersonal skills. It can be more satisfying Brings better understanding and agreement.
