Section 5 Career Paths

Once a person has passed the Recruit stage of their employment, 3 options are available to them. Firstly, as a Private of the 1st Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment, British Army. Secondly, as an Able Seaman within the Warfare Branch of the Royal Navy. Finally, the third option is as an Aircraftman within the General Duties Wing of the Royal Air Force. Promotions within these branches are at the discretion of Senior Officers up to the most senior NCO rank, for hard work and respect. Officer Selections and Promotions are overseen by the Military Officer Selection Board. All 3 branches have various Wings, Arms and Billets for all personnel to join, providing they meet the specific selection requirements. This is again at the discretion of senior officers, however must be in line with UK Equality policy (See Section 7 Equality in the United Kingdom) At the invitation of the relevant authorities, persons can also be invited to join Military Intelligence, or the Government, however, these invitations are very rare, and are only awarded for outstanding and exceptional service. Permission must also be sought from the Force Commander, and the Chief of the Defence Staff, or their appointed deputies. VIP Status is only awarded to Veterans, or Senior Allies, and cannot be purchased at any price.

Section 6 Discharge from Service

S6a. Once a person has completed their first month of Service, they are eligible for Honourable Discharge from the United Kingdom. If they wish to seek an Honourable Discharge, the person must follow the Chain of Command, and contact their Billet CO, who will in turn contact the Force CO, and request permission for an Honourable Discharge. The Adjutant (or equivalent) will then check the Disciplinary Logs to find any possible barriers to an Honourable Discharge (See S6b, Dishonourable Discharge) If no barriers are found, then an Honourable Discharge will be posted on SynStick Gaming, under the Discharges Section. Under a Honourable Discharge, an ex-member is entitled to return to employment within the United Kingdom, at a maximum rank of OR-6, at the discretion of the Chief of the Defence Staff, or his appointed deputies. This Honourable Discharge can only be effected twice after the 3rd retirement from service, the discharge shall be final and absolute, only by Royal Decree can the person be re-employed. S6b. If a person receives more than three (3) warnings from the Field Provost, then they are eligible for trial by Military Tribunal (See Section 8 of the UKAFA2011 entitled Military Tribunals) As a result of this Tribunal, one of the options available to the Panel is the option of Dishonourable Discharge this effectively bans the affected persons from rejoining the United Kingdom, unless a Royal Pardon is granted. In exceptional circumstances, if a member constantly disobeys rules and orders in a short period of time, a member of their Branch Command (Flag Grade and above) can issue an instant Dishonourable Discharge, Lord Chief Justice of the United Kingdom Lord Gooner2407 of Bromley

United Kingdom Armed Forces Act 2011 which, providing evidence can be provided, carries the same Authority granted by a Discharge issued by a Military Tribunal. This can be appealed to a Tribunal on legal grounds. S6c. Absent Without Leave If a person is not online for 5 consecutive days without a written confirmation on SynStick, then they are automatically discharged dishonourably, however, this can be appealed to a Tribunal on a technicality. S6d. If a person is proven to be employed elsewhere whilst employed within the United Kingdom, then they are automatically dishonourably discharged, and placed on the Territories Kick on Sight List. This is irrevocable, even by Royal Warrant. S6e. If anyone with under a months consecutive service wishes to leave, then they can apply for a Discharge. This means they will have to return to the rank of Recruit if they wish to rejoin.

Section 7 - Equality in the United Kingdom

As an employer, and a service, the United Kingdom, its staff, services and all associated persons provide a service that is not based on age, sex, sexual orientation, colour, creed, ethnic origin, ability, additional needs, or resources. S8a. A Military Tribunal will consist of no less than 3, and no more than 6 members of the senior ranks of the United Kingdom, one of which must be an appointed Presiding Officer (see Section 8b) The Panel will sit at a prearranged time and date, which will be made known to both the relevant Provosts, and the Defendant. Section 9 Military Field Provost

The Military Field Provost of the United Kingdom Armed Forces is overseen by Colonel Eatix, Commanding Officer, Military Provost. The Provost have the lawful powers to question, detain, warn and arrest any employee of the United Kingdom (See the Introduction to the UKAFA2011 for the exceptions) They can only do this with good reason, and only in order to allow the swift and prompt investigation of the matter at hand. As with any form of Justice, the Provost are sworn to only use their powers to uphold the Rule of Law, and not use their Sworn Powers for personal, or financial gain. If a Provost feels it necessary to warn someone for their conduct, then they must post the warning on the relevant warnings thread on the Forum, with all available supporting evidence and witnesses. If the Senior Provost from each branch wishes to appeal that warning, they must provide sufficient evidence to counter that given warning. The Provost must also be prepared to present the evidence to a Military Tribunal, if required to. The Provost are also responsible for aiding the Senior Officers in the running of the base, with particular attention to base Security. Each Branch has its own Provost Marshal to help the COMP with the running of the Provost.

Section 10 - Authority of the Ranks

Evidently, the Chain of Command MUST be observed, however, the different levels on the Chain have different levels of Authority (the lower down the chain, the lower the level of authority) The highest level of authority rests with the Royal Family. As overall leaders of the United Kingdom, they hold power, however, the majority of this is in the hands of King Shanka. The next level down from this is Senior Government this is the Prime Minister, his deputies, the senior advisors, and the Secretaries. They have control over their relevant areas of governance, e.g: Education over Training, Defence over MoD etc. A member of one department can give orders to a member from another department with regards to HQ rules etc, but not when it exceeds that persons area of governance. The level below this is the Undersecretaries, and the Ministers of State, who deputise for the Secretaries, and hold powers in relation to this. The MoD Senior Staff, and Branch Commanders hold the overall authority over their Branches, with the ability to change certain rules and regulations as they see fit, providing they remain within MoD Guidelines. Officers below these Branch Commanders hold the authority over their subordinate personnel, but only within the confines of their Branches, however they must be shown respect from all other personnel. They are the first grade of Staff that can call an attention (Except NCO Drill Instructors) NCOs have the authority over their subordinate billet staff, but clearly must follow the chain of command they can also become (Senior) Drill Instructors, at the discretion of the Senior Drill Officers/Chief Drill Instructor. Their orders, where lawful, Lord Chief Justice of the United Kingdom Lord Gooner2407 of Bromley

United Kingdom Armed Forces Act 2011 must be followed by their subordinates. Finally, the Enlisted personnel, whilst not in possession of any direct powers, they are still responsible for the staff underneath their rank, and should help wherever asked.

Section 11 Right to Reality

All members of the United Kingdom are entitled to their own spare time outside of Habbo to have a policy to the contrary would be barbaric. Whilst people are entitled to time off from Habbo, as well as leave for events such as exams etc, they should still retain a minimum commitment of 6 hours a week to <UK> - Even meeting this level may still result in a disciplinary action for inactivity, at the discretion of Senior Officer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I, the Lord Chief Justice of the United Kingdom, hereby lay this legislation before both Houses of Parliament by Affirmative Resolution, and our Monarch, in accordance with the Defence of the Realm Act.
