Communication 2
ABSTRACT Communication is the processes in which speech, signs, or actions transmit from one person to another (Marriam-Webester 2010). There are many different ways to communicate in which we use to communicate our feelings, thoughts, information, and beliefs. Ways we communicate to create effective communication are one to one, group communication, visual communication. These ways will help your life and work life be more effective. Types of interpersonal interaction that can also help communication withpeople non-verbal interaction, verbal interaction, and listening and reflecting back. These interactions show the effectiveness of communication between you and the other person. Another While on placement, it is important to use effective communication at your place of employment. An effective way of communicating is one on one communication. When using one on one communication with another colleague or client, make sure that it is in an environment where attention can be kept. Communication can become ineffective if attention is broken by interference or chaos.

Communication 3
One on one communication should be used when explain, questioning, or understanding a situation or person. When using this type of communication, eye contact is a very important part to making one on one communication effective. Eye contact helps keep the persons attention. Height in communication can also be a barrier in communication. If a person who communicates to another person sitting in a chair using one on one communication, the patient may feel that one is talking down to them, or feel intimidated. Keeping eye level with the person you are communicating with helps to create effective communication. I use the tact when I am speaking to my daughter and my nieces. They are more receptive to me this way verse me standing over them and pointing the figure. I have made myself approachable. Also, I watch my body language it can create between to you and the person. Body language during communication helps each person know when the communication is effective or not. If you are having a problem with a colleague or need to inform them of something, one on one communication is effective to disclose this information only to them. Group communication is effective communication when there are many people to inform of something or conversation. Group communication is effective when one person talks at a time and has an open opinion about the subject to comfort everyone in the groups opinion. A loud voice may help communication so that everyone can hear and eye contact with various people in the group is important to keep everyones attention and let them know you are communicating with them. In, my family there are several individual feel that if they loud talk you that they are making a statement. This is something that I need to work because I feel that I have to raise my voice as well because I am not being heard. What I need to is allow all parties to discuss what they have to say and be a good listener and the comment. Visual communication is used mostly for people who have hearing difficulties or impairment or who cannot speak. Sign language is a common way of communication visually. Visual communication is important that when used, eye contact is not broken or anything can interrupt the communication. We use visual communication in our family because of my cousin being Artistic. This is a communication gap for me, I should have token the time out to learn sign language to assist him in his communication. Even though we have visual ad available this still have to be hard on him. How in consider and selfish I have been.

Communication 4
To use effective communication, any of the above ways to communicate are only effective in the correct situation. When communicating to a large group of people, group communication is the most effective like when informing other of important information. One on one communication is highly effective when communicating with one person as well as visual communication. Visual communication is highly effective one on one to stop from interference. One on one communication can be used to update a progress or to inform someone of information. Visual communication would be used for people who have hearing difficulties. Arts and crafts are a great way of entertaining and getting him who do not often communicate, to communicate through art and crafts. Nonverbal interaction should always be used when communicating because it can help the person you are communicating to understand properly what you could be referring to and decreases the risk of being misunderstood. Verbal interaction can help you stay engaged in the conversation you are having because they will know you understand and they understand the communication. Verbal interaction would be highly effective in one on one communication. Listening and reflecting back can help a people asses their progress or help them understand the communication better. This interaction can be used in organized group communication or one on one communication to become effective. Without effective communication, my household, my job would be chaotic. Order of Communication Cycle A. Idea Occurs- you plan to communicate a message to someone, so you get their attention. Example; how are you? Make eye contact. B. Message Coded- you plan how you are going to communicate this message. Example; verbally C. Message Sent- you either send the message through non-verbal, verbal, gesture and others. Example;

Sent how are you? Through verbal communication D. Message Received- the receiver receivers the message you sent

Example; Receiver made eye contact and heard your message

Communication 5
E. Message Decoded- the receiver decodes the message you sent to them and understands it. Example;

the receiver processed that you are asking how they are F. Message Understood- the person has understood your message.

Example; Receiver understands your message and will begin the communication cycle again (Stretch and Whitehouse 2010) How the Communication Cycle can be used in at home, the work place and in the community The communication cycle used in varies of area of out day to day life it is beneficial to explain and understand how people communicate with one another. If a step of the communication cycle is not used or not received, this cycle will not be effective to its role of communication. To prevent the cycle from not being effective, you have to send the message clear, concise, and simply to prevent the message from being confusing. To ensure effective communication by using the communication cycle, not only does the message need to be clear, concise and simple, but body language should also be used to ensure effective communication. Body language can help determine the message is received and understood by the person . Example; A nurse is giving a patient medicine in pill form. The nurse sends the message Have you swallowed the medicine? to the patient. The patient nods which allows the nurse to know the message has been received and understood. Although it is a non-verbal message, giving feedback to the nurse, nonverbal communication is still as effective with the communication cycle even though two forms of communication are used. A manager will use the communication cycle everyday throughout their career because it produces successful communication. A manager needs to have excellent communication skills to help service his people/coworker. A manager needs to ensure his employees have a good understanding in the messages they receive to help progress and get the support they need from the production floor.Another example in the way communication cycle is also used by Counselor need to be able to approach a sensitive subject and give support to service users in a productive way. The communication cycle enables them to do so by gaining trust of the service user and building a good relationship through successful communication. The counselor makes sure the message they send is clear and understanding to the service user. The service user

then receives, and understands the message and sends a message back to the co that they understand Counselor will also use the listening and reflecting back interpersonal interaction to make sure the communication cycle was effective and the message stays clear to the service user. Conclusion In this report I have researches, analyzed, and assessed different forms of communication as well as ways of using it to create successful and effective communication in a business setting. I have also assessed how the communication cycle can be used in my day to day life as well as in my community. The conclusion of this analysis is that the communication cycle is vital to being used in it help to create trust and support, and treat service users. The communication cycle is available to every type of service user to help them in an effective way by using different communication and interactions.
