The bible teaches us about two men named Saul. The first Saul was a king over many people. He was tall and good looking. Growing up in our home, our kids always knew what was He had a wonderful son named Jonathan, and the friendship of expected of them. Sometimes the kids thought the rules where a the greatest prophet that ever lived, Samuel. Yet He lost it all little strict, but they did their best to comply. But being the little because of his disobedience. The second Saul hated Jesus, sinners that they are, occasionally they were disobedient. I persecuted Christians, stood by and watched as Stephen was remember one time when my youngest, Matt, did something stoned to death. This Saul was a proud and accomplished man, that really upset me. I cant even remember what he did now, yet one heavenly vision knocked him off his horse, and one act but I remember I was crying. RECIPES
Grilled Chicken Summer-Time Salad
Serves: 4 3 (6 ounce) boneless chicken halves 6 cups torn salad greens 2 small tomatoes chopped 6 oz. cheddar cheese shredded 2 green onions chopped 1/4-1/2 cup Creamy Pepper Garlic Dressing
Creamy Pepper Garlic Dressing 1 cup Mayonnaise 2 teaspoons cider vinegar 1 Tablespoon lemon juice 1 Tablespoon olive oil 4 cloves garlic pressed Fresh Ground Pepper to Taste Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix. Pour over salad.

Grill chicken over medium heat 8-10 min on each side until no longer pink. In bowl combine salad greens, chopped tomatoes, cheddar cheese and green onions. Slice grilled chicken and place on top. Make dressing, Pour over salad and Toss. Serve immediately.

WOMENS RETREAT REVIEW

Quilt of Gods Many Names

I climbed to the top of the mountain this weekend. I came down the other side. Then I came home. I am so tired from physical exhaustion, my body seeks rest. But my heart is wide awake, it wont allow me to sleep, it yearns for more of the names of God, my Father, my Abba Daddy. Our Womens Retreat always ends far to quickly. We no sooner arrive and we are heading for home again. If only... if only we could stay just one more day. Lord I need more of you, cover me with your peace tonight. Everything about the Womens Retreat has its own little story. The smell of fresh brewed coffee waiting for us each morning. The sinful snack bar luring us to indulge in sugary treats. The hardness of the mattresses leads to the question, where you able to sleep last night or did you toss and turn as I did? Sleepy eyed women asking each other who stayed up the longest talking with their roommates into the early morning hours. The race to get in line for the delicious foods served to us each year in the cafeteria. The early morning chill in the sanctuary that sends some of us back to our room for a sweater or jacket. The special bond of love among sisters in Christ. Beautiful friendships, prayers shared, tears wiped, arms hugging, everyone, just loving one another. Provides. He is always looking out for our needs, ready to help us however we ask of Him. Romans 8:32 "Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, wont God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?" How precious for us to come to know the compassion and love of Jehovah-Tsidkinu, God of Righteousness. We are but a prayer away from forgiveness everyday. "1John 1:9 "If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from every wrong." When our hearts are full of pain from the trials of our life, Jehovah-Shaloam, our God of Peace awaits us.Numbers 6:26 :May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace." God our Shepherd, Jehovah-Rohi, is our Shepherd who will come looking for us when we are lost, we are never alone if we cry out to Him. Ephesians 3:20 "By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope." Healing from illness, trials that brings suffering, our God Who Heals, Jehovah-Rophi is always waiting to cover us with His healing ministry. Every Women Loves a Make Over
by Mary Jane Robinette Its early morning and you are standing in front of your bathroom mirror. Your hair style turned out perfect. The color lipstick you chose matches the pink in your new blouse. Your reflection you see in the mirror is perfect. You are now ready to start your day feeling satisfied with your beautiful image. Stop! Youre forgetting something . . . You forgot to make over your inner self. You cannot start your day without a complete make over, inside too. You can only do that when you dress your inner self to please God. When your inner self pleases God the mirror image you see is of yourself surrendering your day, your life to living Gods will. Look for the image of Gods spiritual qualities in your reflection. Nothing should be more important to you in the morning then to be putting on and wearing the Word of God. How do you accomplish this daily make over? You surrender to the Word of God before you do anything else, even if it means getting up a half hour early. Prepare your heart to tell the Lord that you are ready to serve Him according to His plans for you that day, no matter how challenging they may be. Before a spiritual make over, what you see in the mirror is your flesh image. You only see a dim reflection of yourself, the one the enemy controls. 1Corinthisans 13:12 for now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Our rewards are in heaven when we see Jesus, not on this earth. In this life we are created to serve God by obedience to submitting to His will. When you commit to your inner spiritual make over Jesus Christ will be right there by your side daily. The Holy Spirit will fill you with peace, wisdom, knowledge and empower you to share His Word with a joyful heart. Start your day spiritually made over, surrendering it all to Jesus, your Lord and Savior.

And now precious sisters and daughters in Christ I would like to close this writing, this message given to me to share with you from our Lord, with the lyrics from a very favorite old Christian song that is dear to my heart. What an awesome way to start your day by singing these beautiful words of praise as you walk away from your James 4:7-8 Therefore submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from mirror knowing that your spiritual make over was paid for by the you. 8. The enemy lurks each morning, encouraging the flesh mind to head to that mirror and make your outward image beautiful to your eyes. What joy you bring to Gods eyes when you reflect your self image as a godly woman, a woman who proudly follows His Words. How exciting to put on your spiritual attire, adorning yourself in love, obedience and submission. As a daughter of God surrendering to His Will, you become the light that reflects God in your daily walk with Him. 1Peter 3:4-5 Do not let your adornment be merely outwardarranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel_ 4. rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. God waits every morning to give you a spiritual make over. What a blessing to know that you can be molded by the Word of God into a beautiful new spiritual image just like the potter was able to mold a new clay vessel out of the marred one. Jeremiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Start your day blest by the Word of God. Clothe yourself in His precious promises. Cover yourself in prayer even if it is just a cry out to Jesus to be with you through out your day. Call upon the Holy Spirit to put a coat of armor over you to protect you from the enemy and shield you from the ways of the flesh. Adorn yourself in the jewels of faith, hope and love. Surround yourself with the fragrance of complete submission to living your life each day to Gods Will.

This summer save on the budget and build family time by trying some of these fun and frugal family activities: THE GREAT OUTDOORS:

Family Game Night: Scrabble, Monopoly, Clue, Sorry all games to practice conversation skills and turn taking. For little ones dont forget simple games such as Memory and Go-Fish.

Parks: Parks make for great day trips. Hiking trails are great for exercise and exploration. Pack a lunch instead of eating out. Camping: Camping is a wonderful activity for families and it doesnt have to be expensive. You could simply pitch a tent in the backyard. You could also try a campin. Go camping in your family room and sleep under the ceiling fan! Pop some popcorn, make SMORES and enjoy!

Play Backyard Games: Tag, kickball, volleyball, baseball and soccer. Dont forget to have fun and run through the sprinklers!

COOKING:

Have a BBQ, hold a cooking contest, make ice cream, and popsicles

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

See a parade, 4th of July, Hot August Nights Hold a yard sale, great for cleaning up those rooms! Sidewalk chalk Hopscotch and pictures. Plant giant sunflower seeds and in the fall there will be food for the birds!

READING AND MUSIC:

Book club: Begin your own book club in your family. Everyone reads a chapter and talks about the book. With younger kids, parents can read to their children and talk to their children about the books. Have family devotions and memorize scripture. If you dont have your children memorizing scripture already, now is a great time to begin. Check out the Public Library for story hour. Check out the newspaper for free concerts in the Park. Check out the Nevada Museum of Art for Free Admission days.
