La Belle Juliette is elegant without being stu y perfect for a weekend break. I found it a struggle to leave for the day, which was rather strange, considering I was in one of the best shopping areas in Europe.

Thanks to Brillat Savarin and his Physiologie du gout, we know that Juliette loved her food. We also know that she excelled in entertaining.

The Talma
In the salons or in the garden, the Talma is the new Parisian meeting place for women of taste.
Restaurant, bar and tea room all rolled into one, the Talma serves a ernoon tea from 3-6pm every weekday, and at weekends its slightly adapted to become an English-style brunch, served from 1-6 pm. Breakfast is served every day from 7-10.30am. Lunch is served Tuesday Saturday from midday 2.30pm. The bar is open Tuesday Saturday from 11am11pm (and until midnight on Friday and Saturday). Just enter La Belle Juliette and pass through our salons to nd the Talma.

Together with our chef Agns, we have decided to invent the sort of a ernoon tea that Juliette could have o ered her guests.
We wanted our a ernoon tea to serve as a brunch at weekends, or an extra-special snack to savour with friends. Whether you're being served in our salons or in the garden, here's what you can expect: rst of all, a little sandwich (di erent each day), fresh scones served with conviette butter and our delicious jams from La Trinquelinette. Agns also prepares other special cakes that change daily, such as a pistachio nancier or a brioche-style pudding (irresistible!). And to top everything o literally a little fruit cake awaits at the very top of it all.

Juliette marked her era, but few know precisely why. A certain mystery surrounds her: what was Juliette Rcamier really like?
Jacqueline Baldran, honorary lecturer in comparative literature at the Sorbonne University and a great admirer of Juliette Rcamier and her friends, describes this exceptional woman whilst taking us through each area of the hotel. Each oor is dedicated to an episode of Juliettes life, her loves, her friends, her voyages, her era. Alain Bisotti, general manager at the Htels Paris Rive Gauche, has found a multitude of documents, books, articles, engravings and unusual items relating to Juliette Rcamier. Together with Anne Gelbard, he gives some insight to help you understand the choices made for each element of the interior design at La Belle Juliette. As you will learn, nothing was le to chance.
