[JAA] in FATA Livelihood Development Program [FDP - LD] funded by USAID. JAA helped me getting exposure of USAID Rules and Regulations particularly; Code of Federal Regulations [CFRs] Federal Acquisition Regulations [FAR] Acquisition and Assistance Rules [ADS Series] AID Acquisition Regulations [AIDAR] Office of Management and Budget [OMB] Circulars

Working with Grants & Contracts Department in FDP-LD my main tasks were: Compiling of the grant department required documents for the approvals e.g. RFP(s), RFA(s) in compliance with the USAID Rules & Regulations. Compiling & archiving grant documentations from Grant agreement till closeout. Developing technical and financial evaluation formats & marking mechanisms for procurements. Maintaining liaisons with the sector program teams regarding grants & contracts. Initial screening of the grant applications in compliance with the set criteria reflected in the Operational Guidelines Manuals.
