Sulphuric Acid: (Double Contact Double Absorption Process) 220 M.

Tons per Day: First of all feed the solid sulphur into the sulphur melting pit where the temperature is maintained at 135 0C. Feed the melted sulphur through steam jacketed line to sulphur burner where the temperature is maintained at 1050 0C when the plant is at full load. At Burner this molten sulphur reacts with the oxygen from air (which is coming from Drying Tower) to form Sulphur dioxide. This SO2 is now entered to hot gas filter then enter to Converter first bed at a temperature of 410 0C where V2O5 catalyst is placed which converts SO2 to SO3 which is exothermic reaction and temperature increase to 600 0C, then this SO2 is entered to gas super heater where SO3 is cool down to 410 0C and entered to converter 2nd Bed where again conversion takes place from SO2 to SO3 and temperature raises to almost 600 0C then the gas is entered to Cold Heat Exchanger-1, Hot Heat Exchanger and then to Economizer-1. From Economizer-1 the gas is entered to Converter 3rd Bed at almost 425 0C, then from 3rd Bed gas is transferred to Hot Heat Exchanger-2, Economizer-2, and to Inter Pas Absorption Tower (I.P.A.T), from I.P.A.T unconverted SO2 is entered to Cold Heat Exchanger-2, Cold Heat Exchanger-1 then to Second converter 4th Bed. From 4th Bed to super heater to cool down the gas temperature then this gas is entered to converter 5th Bed, from 5th bed to Final Absorption Tower (F.A.T). After absorption from F.A.T SO3 is entered to Acid circulation tank where oleum is form this oleum is dissolved in water to form Sulphuric acid. In I.P.A.T, F.A.T & D.T (drying tower) sulphuric acid is showered as it absorbs moisture. Single Super Phosphate: Rock Phosphate Country Dealers: Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia, Japan, Pakistan (local rock) etc... Process Description: Rock phosphate is fed into raw rock feed hopper then through conveyor belt this rock is entered to grinding mill (Roller mill) here the rock is grind to 200 mesh size for better product results. Now the grinded rock by means of classifier and blower entered to cyclone from here grinded rock is collect in grinded rock hopper having capacity of 60 M.Tons. Rotary feeder is located at the bottom of grinded rock hopper which conveys grinded rock to bucket elevator. From bucket elevator the grinded rock is entered to forward screw conveyor then to weighing belt, at the exit point of forward screw conveyor and entrance point of weighing belt a rock collection box is made if the rock comes in excess quantity then at this point reverse screw conveyor is located that can transfer the excess quantity of rock back to grinded rock hopper. Start the scrubber blower then fill the 3 scrubber tanks with tap water and start the scrubber pumps for gas scrubbing during reaction between rock and dilute sulphuric acid. Now start the cooling tower pumps. Start in sequence first the final product belt, Den belt, paddle mixer and pre-mixer. Weighing belt is start at the end. Ratio of acid and soft water is set according to rock flow. For 1 tons of SSP 0.65 ton rock and 0.35 ton dilute acid is required. Granular SSP: Granule size 4 to 6 mm (required size) Bag wt = 50 kg
