Fitness/Wellness Update
Guest Event Tickets Effective August 1
Effective August 1 when you bring a guest to a Sun City event, you will no longer be required to pay the $3 Guest Fee. This applies to any ticketed event; lifestyle events, club events and all other ticketed events. Instead, a $2 stipend will be added to guest ticket prices. For instance, residents will pay $3 for Movie Night and guests will $5; residents will pay $5 for Mental Health Trivia and guests will pay $7, and so on. There at several reasons that this change makes sense. Two of the more important reasons are 1) we needed to eliminate confusion as to how event guest fees were being collected and applied, and 2) the stipend recognizes and protects the private status of Sun City and ensures residents the level of exclusivity they purchased when they bought their home. Guest fees still apply in all other circumstances. Use of Sun City facilities is a privilege and non-residents must still pay the $3 Guest Fee for general use of our amenities and attending activities including club activities (Poker, Bingo, Jam Session, etc.).
