BURGLARY 11-30873

On 7/2/2011 deputies from Superior Twp responded to the 4000 block of Mario Dr for the complaint of a burglary. The complainant informed the deputies that a building on their property had been illegally entered and a number of tools were stolen. No further details were available at the time of this posting. No arrests have been made. This case remains under investigation.

BURGLARY

11-30916

On 7/2/2011 deputies patrolling Bridgewater Twp were called to the 11000 block of Austin Rd for the complaint of a burglary to a pole barn. No further details were available at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation.

HOME INVASION

11-30947

On 7/2/2011, at approximately 8:15PM, deputies from Superior Twp responded to the 8000 block of MacArthur Blvd for a residential burglary. The victim told deputies someone broke into their home while they were away. Several items were stolen: a TV and a laptop computer. Deputies are still attempting to determine how and when the home was entered. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation.

HOME INVASION

11-31056

On 7/3/2011 deputies from Ypsilanti Twp responded to the 3000 block of East Michigan Ave for a residential burglary. The victim told deputies they were away from their home for most of the day on 7/2/2011. When they returned home in the early morning hours of 7/3/2011, they discovered that multiple items were missing from inside of the residence. Deputies are still attempting to determine how and when the home was entered. No arrests have been made at the time of this report. The case remains open. Stolen Property: 1 Olympus digital camera 1 Hewlett-Packard laptop PC Unknown quantity of cash

HOME INVASION

11-31112

Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp are investigating a residential burglary which occurred in the 100 block of South Harris Rd. The burglary occurred sometime during the daytime hours of 7/2/2011police were contacted on 7/3/2011, after the incident was discovered. Investigators believe the home was entered through the front door. Several items were reported stolen. No suspect information was available at the time of this report. This case remains an active investigation. Stolen Property: 1 small steel safe 1 Xbox 360 game console

UDAA (STOLEN & RECOVERED VEHICLE)

11-31244

On 7/4/2011 deputies from Countywide Patrol investigated the reported theft of a motor vehicle taken from the 10000 block of Talladay Rd, in Augusta Twp. The vehicle was recovered by deputies at about 4:00AM, in the area of Willis Rd and Bunton Rd. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation.

ARREST INFORMATION
11-30814 (WARRANT ARREST/VEHICLE PURSUIT ARREST) On 7/2/2011, at approximately 2:00AM, deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp were involved in a vehicle pursuit involving a wanted subject. Deputies attempted to stop a motor vehicle in the area of Grove Rd and the I-94 Service Dr for a traffic violation. As deputies activated their vehicle emergency equipment, the motorist sped away. The deputies pursued the fleeing motorist for several minutes before apprehending the suspect in the area of Parkwood Ave, near the US12 Bypass. The motorist told deputies that he fled from the police because he knew he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.

11-30986 (DRUNK DRIVING ARREST) Deputies assigned to Scio Twp arrested a suspected drunk driver on 7/2/2011, at approximately 7:30PM. The deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Zeeb Rd and Park Rd when the suspects vehicle was stopped for a moving violation. The deputies determined the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was arrested and transported to the jail without incident. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.

11-31168 (POSSESSION OF STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST) On 7/3/2011, at about 8:00PM, deputies from Ypsilanti Twp arrested an individual for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Deputies were on patrol in the area Nash Ave and Desoto Ave when the listed stolen vehicle was spotted. The deputies stopped the vehicle and took the driver into custody without incident. Investigators are still attempting to determine if this individual is involved in additional stolen vehicle investigations. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review, once the investigation is complete.

11-31057 (WARRANT ARREST) On 7/3/2011, at approximately 12:15AM, deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject while they were conducting a traffic stop. The deputies stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of S. Ford Blvd and Parkwood Ave. During the encounter the deputies identified the vehicle occupants.
