Officer (C) Provision Of Re-medical: Candidates declared unfit in final medical examination by the Medical Officer of the board can apply for re medical examination to DIG (Comn & IT ). HQ DG BSF New Delhi within one month from the date of issue of communication by the presiding officer of the board alongwith bank draft/ IPO of Rs. 50/- (for GEN/ OBC candidates only) in the name of DDO, FHQ BSF NEW DELHI payable at New Delhi. Proof of his fitness on prescribed performa given by the recruitment board should be enclosed with application. Note 1:- Physical efficiency test (PET) is a qualifying test, a candidate must qualify in all the PET events serially as mentioned. Candidates who qualify the 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes will only be allowed to appear for the long jump and so on. Candidate who fails in any event will be rejected at that stage only and will not be allowed to appear in the remaining events. Candidate who qualifies the physical test, written test, documentation and personal interview will be finally medically examined by the BSF medical officer. The final selection would be made on the basis of overall merit based on marks obtained in written test, dictation test (for HC/RO only) and interview. Note 2 :Qualifying the tests does not amount to final selection which will be made on the basis of consolidated merit list of all recruitment centres as per the number of vacancies in respective quota. (iii)ASI (RM) : Matric with Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from any Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government or 10 +2 Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of fifty percent with selective subject being Physics. Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board or Institution. (B)AGE LIMITS:- (i)Not below 18 years or over 23 years as on 10 Aug 2011 for HC(RO) /HC (Fitter). (ii) Not below 18 years or over 25 years as on 10 Aug 2011 for ASI(RM). Note 1 : Age relaxation of 5 years for SC,ST and Govt servant including serving BSF personnel, and of 3 years relaxation for OBC as per Central Government rules. Note 2 : Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in the matriculation/secondary examination certificate or an equivalent certificate on the last date of submission of application will be accepted and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted. Note:-3 : Relaxation of 5 years of age admissible to the children and dependent family members of those who were killed in the communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat and riots of 1984 on production of certificate to that effect from the concerned District Collector where victim was killed. Expression of Interest for District Ombudsman under MGNREGS
Fresh expression of interest are invited from willing persons to be engaged as Ombudsman/ Deputy Ombusdsman in each district for redressal of grievances and disposal of complaints relating to implementation of the MGNREG Act and MGNREGS for a tenure of 2 years extendable by one year based on performance appraisal or till attaining age of 65 years which ever is earlier. Eligibility Criteria :The person fulfilling the following criteria may apply for selection of district ombudsman under MGNREGS. 1. A person of eminent standing and impeccable integrity with at least 20 years of expression in Public Administration, Law Academics, Social work or Management. 2. Should not be a member of political party. 3. Must be a physically active person and capable of conducting field tours, inspection and visit to remote rural location in the district. 4. Should not be more than 62 years of age as on 01.06.2011. Appointment: The Ombudsman in the district will be appointed by the State Govt, on the recommendation of the Selection Committee. Remuneration : The Ombudsman shall be allowed to get compensation of Rs. 500/- per sitting. Removal: On unsatisfactory performance, the Ombudsman may be removed by the State Government on the recommendation of the Selection Committee. Jurisdiction & Location : The State Government shall specify the territorial jurisdiction of each Ombudsman in terms of a District & the office of the MGNREGS Ombudsman shall be located at District Head Quarters. The willing persons fulfilling above criteria may submit their written expression in the prescribed proforma alongwith copy of the required documents to the Collector-cum-D.P.C., MGNREGA, Boudh by 06.07.2011 through Speed Post/Registered Post or by hand. Educational Qualification : The applicant must have Bachelors degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The applicant must have diploma in computer application. 5. Age Limit : The applicants must not be less than 21 years and more than 32 years as on 01.01.2011. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years incase of SC/ST / women / SEBC applicants, 10 years incase of persons with disability and for ex-servicemen, the period of entire admissible service rendered as per rule. Only one type of relaxation in age is admissible. In Service Applicants : The employees of OSCSC Ltd. including temporary employees may apply for the post. Employees who are having 10 years working experience in this organization, subject to their non involvement in any case of misappropriation / defalcation of Corporation funds are eligible to apply. The said applicant has to produce certificate of experience from the OSCSC Head Office. Reservation: Applicant claiming reservation under any category as per Para-2 should furnish relevant certificates issued by the Competent Authority in support of their claims. 7. Procedure of Selection :I. The selection of applicants shall be made on the basis of the marks secured by them in the Secondary (Matriculation), Higher Secondary (10+2) and Graduate Examinations conducted by a recognized Board / Council or University as the case may be. II. Weightage shall be assigned to the marks obtained by the applicants in the examination in the following manner: Secondary (Matriculation) - 20% Higher Secondary (10+2) - 20% Graduation (Bachelors Degree) - 60% III. The merit list shall be drawn up on the basis of weighted percentage of marks obtained in the three examinations mentioned in sub-paragraph (I) and (II) above. IV. In case, more than one applicant has equal weightage of marks, the applicant with higher percentage of marks in aggregate in degree examination shall be assigned higher rank in merit list. In case this also becomes equal, the applicant with higher percentage of marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary (10+2) examination shall be assigned higher rank in the merit list. In case this also becomes equal, the applicant with higher percentage of marks in aggregate in Secondary (Matriculation) examination shall be assigned higher rank in the merit list. In case, this also becomes equal, the applicant older in age shall be placed above the younger. 8. Method of Recruitment: The recruitment will be

done by OSCSC Head office centrally. However the applications will be invited district wise keeping in view the posts required. The merit list will be prepared separately for each district as per the category of reservation. An applicant shall be allowed to apply for maximum three districts. The applicant has to prioritize the districts in which he/she is applying for Sales Assistant cum Data Entry Operator and once considered for a higher preference district, the other options will not be considered. 9.
