Prayer & Praise

Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Please pray for James McGowan as he continues to recover from surgery. Pray for the follow up that is currently happening in the wake of the Greg Laurie crusade. It is vitally important to see these new believers get grounded in their relationships with Jesus. Please pray that our churchs neighbours would be favourable to having the proposed Child Care operating in our facility One of the greatest needs in France is for men and women to answer the call to ministry. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send workers into His harvest field. Pray for the training program that is offered to all Alliance churches in France, which is designed to train lay workers. Are you new to this facility? We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that:

Greg Laurie Recap

Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly beyond what we can ask or even think. I would say He did just that this past weekend at the Greg Laurie Harvest. Thank you for all the prayer and good old hard work you put into this weekends outreach. 20,000 people got into the building (quite a few were turned away) and 2,777 came forward, talked to a counsellor, were given a Bible, and were referred to local Auckland area churches. A few hundred on top of that got Bibles and but escaped before we could connect them with a counsellor. This is incredible, and even amazed Pastor Greg! The Harvest does not have to be over! The webcast of both nights are archived at: http://www.harvest.org/crusades/2011/auckland/ event-information/home.html. Forward this link to people you know who did not make it out. Many people will come to Christ long after the outreach has come and gone. If you have praise reports or interesting stories of peoples experiences this weekend, please forward them to Ron Case at ron@harvest.org The Harvest facebook page also has some good stuff. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/event.php? eid=186522161368491

Palangi in the Pacific

Palangi is Tongan for white person, and from July 15-25, 13 Palangi from Auckland area Alliance churches (including Pastor Matt and Sharilyn) will be travelling to the Kingdom of Tonga for a 10 day missions trip. Please pray that Gods hand will be on our ministry and team.
