superdeterminism and gravitational waves At the age of seven, i had an 'odd' experience..

i w as walking on a path around 'the lake' (nearby where i grew up) and suddenly stopped. i looked at the path behind me. i l oked at the path ahead o of me. i w ondered how many times i would walk that path in my life. i su ddenly became aware of the analogy of 'our lives' with paths.. i wondered how long i would live on this particular path.. In my imagination, i tried to reach forward to my 'future self' and telepathically communicate with him/me.. In my imagination , i felt something/someone there - reas suring me " Everything w ill be okay Sam". ('Coincidentally', t hat's the expression my wife used to us e 'w hen she cared', imitat ing a line from Spirited Away: "Everything w ill be okay Sen".) Superdeterminism is a concept from quantum mechanics that allows a kind of determinism to exist in our universe where the outcome of a given experiment is essentially determined before the experiment is even thought of / constructed. In this form of determinism, everything is 'preordained' and we have essentially no free will. We're kind of like automatons "bleep bl eep urp urp" 8| rambling about just doing whatever desire pushes us to do. A nd so conventional quantum theorists dismiss superdeterminism b ecaus e everyt hing w e see is a kind of stage and w e're just actors - simply we don't know it's a play..Until now. ;) Previously, in the War for M eaning, i argued human life is 'but a dance' bet ween heart s, minds , and spirits.. Specifically not a play. But if we don't take life so s erious ly, w e could look at it as a kind of Shakespearean comedy: tragic but full of 'hidden humor'.. Indeed, my own life could be looked at in this way.. So full of hope and innocence - only later crushed by reality and human weaknesses. Sometimes, t he only thing that keeps me going is the illusion s omewhere - s omeone really cares.. ^ ^ A re w e jus t meat-pu ppets? Tragic meat-puppet s w ith a thin veil covering all creation hiding the puppeteers' strings? If my experience had any basis in reality, someone/s omething w as reas suring me at seven with kind w ords .. Perhaps someone from t he future or perhaps s omeone/somet hing who transcended time.. Some might aut omatically identify that w ith a divinit y .. Or perhaps it could be our divine Self.. Only God knows.. ;) Superdeterminism, where everything is essentially written in a 'Book of Life' - all past , present, and future, is not impossible. Conventional theoreticians posit "unlikely" but i sense that is simply avoiding the 'semi-tractor-trailer looming in the dis tance' unequivocally headed our way. What if we never det ect the H iggs ? What if w e nev er detect gravitational waves? T hese would indicate: virtual exchange mediating forces is extremely s uspect - and - perhaps t he only way for energy to propagate is via photons /elect romagnetic-t emporal waves. Indeed, it should make any rational mind very s uspicious that we have not detected asingle Higgs nor gravitational wave. Personally, i t hink it w as inevitable w e look for the Higgs; t he notion fits their framework. Just as i think it was 'preordained' we look for gravitational waves. The real question is: do we have the wisdom/courage to look behind the veil when we don't find them ? A video version of this article can be found at: ht tp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpkqg_RR0AU
