Dear Delegate: Congratulations on your acceptance to the 2011 Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Asia Conference! This years Asia Conference will bring approximately 450 talented undergraduate and graduate students from top-tier institutions in more than 40 countries to Seoul, South Korea and will last from August 18, 2011 to August 23, 2011. You have been selected for the panel: Winds of Change: Business Leadership in an Evolving Economy This year's theme for the Asia Conference is: At the Crossroads: Decisions in a Dynamic Asia. While Asias economic growth has surged ahead in recent years, poverty and inequalities still persists in many regions. The conference will explore Asia's take in supporting economic growth and will analyze Asias management of societal challenges such as human and civil rights, poverty, and health issues. The conference seeks to advance discourse about Asia's future on the world stage as well as promote consideration of Asia's unique challenge of reconciling past events with current aspirations. This conference is a call to the future leaders of the world to take an active role in shaping Asia's future and role in the global community.

Preeminent speakers from Harvard and beyond will supplement workshop discussions with their critical perspectives. Previous speakers of HPAIR include: Former President of the Republic of South Korea Kim Dae-jung, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Justice of International Criminal Court Song Sang-Hyun, Harvard Professors Jeffrey Sachs and Ezra Vogel, former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, Singaporean President SR Nathan, and former President of Goldman Sachs Asia, Philis Murphy.

As a delegate, not only will you have the opportunity to interact closely with these leaders in their respective industries, you will also have the chance to network with future leaders from around the world.

In that spirit, the organizing committee strongly recommends that you register for Asia Conference as soon as you can since admission is a rolling process.

Early Applicant Registration Deadline (May 7): $325 Regular Applicant Registration Deadline (May 31): $350 Late Applicant Registration Deadline (June 30): $375

If you have applied for and received financial aid you will receive your decision shortly. If not, you will not be contacted regarding financial aid and you may assume that it has not been granted.
