Le Mans, Targa Florio, Mille Miglia all the great motor races have been contested and won by Alfa Romeo cars, driven by legendary names like Nuvolari and Fangio. In the 1923 Targa Florio, Ugo Sivocci sported a four-leafed clover symbol on his Alfa Romeo RL. He won, and ever since, the Clover leaf has symbolised the spor ting hear t of Alfa Romeo. Today Cloverleaf trim levels represent the pinnacle of the MiTo and Giulietta models, with outstanding perfor mance and handling complemented by a lavish specification. Alfa continued to win race after race in touring car and sports car racing, from the 60s and 70s right through to the 21st century.
