Guntur Engineering College is one of the engineering colleges in Guntur, offering Bachelor courses in Engineering, Technology and Masters in Business Administration. It is located in the west suburban region of Guntur City, India the college buildings are designed with 5000 m2 plinth area as per AICTE norms. A three storied first year block was constructed for housing Lecture rooms, Drawing Halls, Library, Laboratories and Administrative rooms. A permanent building was constructed for the canteen near the exit gate. Departments Major subjects offered:

History The college main campus was established in 2004 in the western side of the city in the suburban area near NH-5 highway. The city administrative campus is located in the Arundelpet area of the city. Our Founding Father SRI NARA HARI RAO, a well-known industrialist, who rose in life by dint of hard work, dedication and total commitment. At a young age, he was instrumental in establishing medium scale industries that generated livelihood to several hundreds of un-employed people & established Guntur Engineering College that catered all the communities irrespectively & provided technical education in both conventional and Hi-Tech disciplines of Engineering with complete state-of-the-art facilities. Administrative Giant Dr K.L. NARAYANA, ME, Ph.D, FIE, CE, MISTE, Principal of the college, equipped with more than 23years of experience. With a single minded focus & determination, he is guiding us through a stream of challenges & incorporated the best of technical & technology based academics. His inspiring guidance & leadership has helped us achieve heights of excellence that nurtured successful technical brains.

Training & Placement Cell: The management has the Placement wing through which the students are placed in different corporate sectors, they have tied up with various companies, banking sector Financial Institutions, Service sector in dissimilar locations and focusing on placements. The Training & Placement Cell was formed on 22/01/2011 with the following executive body to take care of their respective responsibilities. 1. Mr. M. Venkatesh HOD-IT is the training & placement officer primarily responsible for all the training programs and placement. 2. Mr. K.Sudheer is the Assistant Placement Officer whose prime response is to look after the placement and co-ordinate to all the training programs. 3. Miss Tasleem Maha Jabeen is the Assistant Training Officer primarily accountable for the execution and conduction of training the students and programmes. 4. Mr. I Sridhar NSS Coordinating Officer, who will Co-Ordinate the training and placement officers. 5. All the training Programmes are authoratively screened and carried on the smooth consultancy of Associate Professor, T. Chandra Sekhar. Also Encouraging Short Paid Assignments for the students so that they can earn during their academics, this may lead to the final placement. Job Fares are also encouraged in the Campus. It has the network of all local and non local, national and international wide contacts through which it is operating and enhancing the relation ship for the future prospects of the students.

The placement cell has been tied up with various colleges and institutions for better networking and implementation of all the robust activities and programs for the development of the students.

Training Programs: The management is promoting soft skills lab for the students for their specific skill development, which includes the training on different concepts specified below: 1.
