BY THE NUMBERS
It’s art fair season and this
weekend no less than nine major
art fairs took over Manhattan.
From the granddaddy of them
all, the Art Show to the Armory
Show’s ninth annual mega-fair
to up-and-comers like DiVA, the
digital and video art fair, over
400 galleries were competing to
attract big buyers. It costs $98 to
see all nine fairs, but visitors got
to see art from exotic locales
like Shanghai,
Berlin and even
Scottsdale, Ariz.
