I am a versatile, creative and commercially aware MA graduate, with experience working on NGO and election campaigns and in an award-winning public affairs and corporate communications agency. With my current internship coming to an end I am looking for a permanent position in a communications role. My key achievements to date include: y y y y y Promoted from communications intern to campaigns officer after two months at CCAT; Won Employee of the Month at Open Road for my research contribution to a successful pitch for new public affairs business; Successfully organised a themed march which raised membership of 1000 by 5%; Worked on email campaigns to fundraise and inform the membership of CCAT and mobilise the electorate during for Andrew Pelling s Re-election Campaign; Developed and implemented forum moderation rules and enforcement procedures during an election campaign.

A member of the research team for an award-winning public affairs and communications agency. I provide research support across all accounts and for new business pitches. A campaigns role in a highly respected NGO. I have been involved in communications with government, NGOs and public sector bodies. I helped to organise public awareness events, presentations, lobbying and PR. y As the most experienced member of the campaigns team, I sat on the CCAT Steering Group; This enabled me to gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of working with an NGO, from policy formulation and implementation to campaigns and communications; y Gained project and personnel management experience through he ading the Schools Outreach Team; y Liaised with various bodies as one of the public faces of the organisation; y Delivered successful e-mail campaigns for fundraising and events promotion; y Developed strong business awareness through commercialisation of our published materials; y My research contributed to significant reductions in the number of brothels trafficking women in Croydon.

A communications role with an independent MP, campaigning for one of the most marginal seats in the country. I gained extensive experience of working in a busy campaigning environment, with significant levels of responsibility. y Responsible for the campaign website, as well as Mr Pelling s parliamentary website; y Developed an all-encompassing policy for the moderation of the campaign site s forum, and recruited and managed a web team to enforce the rules and assist in any other tasks required; y Wrote articles for the website, which I edited; y Wrote press releases which were published in the local newspapers.

y y y Contributed research to a report commissioned by the MoD for the development of a new strategic simulation; Developed my ability to communicate with people of all ages and cultures when working as a teaching assistant in a primary school in a deprived area of London; I take an active interest in sport, especially boxing, which I follow and trained in during my school years, and basketball, which I enjoy watching and playing with friends.
