Methodology for Micro-Concreting

Uses of RENDEROC RG :RG micro-concrete is used for repair to damaged reinforced concrete elements, particularly where access is Renderoc --- and where vibration of the placed material is difficult or impossible. Advantages :1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Gaseous expansion system components for shrinking settlement in plastic state. Can be poured or pumped into restricted locations. Highly fluid to allow free flow for placement without vibration. Rapid strength gain to facilitate early renovations. High ultimate strength & contains no chloride admixtures.

Description :Renderoc RG micro-concrete is a ready to useable of dry powder, with addition of water to produce a free-flowing non-shrink repair micro-concrete. Material is based on Portland cements, graded aggregates and filters and additions which impart controlled expansion characteristics in the plastic state, while minimizing demand. Renderoc RG micro-concrete in addition with 5 mm to 12 mm graded saturated aggregate can be mixed and poured with water. Properties & Mixing Ratio :1. Per a bag of 25 Kg Renderoc RG 10. 2. Addition of 50% (5 mm to 12 mm) aggregates. 3. The quantity of water generally be 3.75 to 4.0 liters (per 22 Kg of bag). Actual: 1:0.75 12.5 Kg Course aggregates (by weight). Compressive strength (W/mm2). Renderoc RG : Course Aggregate (By Weight) 1: 0.75 Kg. Water 25 Kg 0.16 Powder ratio 0.16 water 1 Bag

Preparation / Mixing :Algibond Epoxy to be applied on the dry surface with brush. 1. Renderoc RG micro-concrete to be poured in a neat container (2 Kg bag). 2. Add- The quantity of water required will generally be 3.75 liters to 4.0 liters per 25 Kg bag. 3. Mixing of Renderoc RG micro-concrete and water should be continuous for at least 5 minutes ensuring a smooth and even consistency of the mix. 4. Adding of graded coarse aggregate to be mixed after the water and Renderoc RG micro-concrete are properly mixed and after mixing the material shall be poured immediately and tapped for even flow, pouring shall be done from on side.

DESCRIPTION & METHODOLOGY FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURES FOR PLUGGING HONEY COMBS

ALGI PLUGWELL CHEMICAL Description : Algitech plugwell is a grout additive in liquid form. Plugwell is used to fill up Honey combs, pores, cracks in concrete structures. Plugwell eliminates dampness & leakages in cement concrete and plaster, ferro concrete etc. Advantages : 1) Reduces setting of grout, increases setting time and thus improves the flow of gout. 2) Grouting with Algi Plugwell improves impermeability and comprises strength of concrete. 3) Plugwell eliminates honey combs and works very good in water proofing works. Methodology for Grouting :1) 12 mm dia holes 100 mm deep shall be drilled at 500 c/c staggered. 2) The holes will be cleaned with water to remove dust particles using Air Blower. 3) 10 mm dia PVC nozzles will be fixed into the drilled holes and the nozzle fixed with Algiplast Rapid set cement. 4) Preparing of cement grout by adding one bag cement to 80 to 100 litres water and 1 (one) litre plugwell mixed to uniform consistency and this neat cement slurry will be grouted through the PVC nozzles till refusal is reached using pressure grouting equipment manually. 5) All projected nozzles will be cut and sealed with quick seal polymer agent / mortar and then surfaced. 6) In addition to the above, we will follow the instructions as per your advice. Equipment details :1) Manually operated Pressure Grouting Machine 140 P/S. 2) Pressure of Machine : About 8 Kg.Sq. Cm. (0.8 N/Sq. mm) PUMP : M/s KILLICS INDIA LTD., BOMBAY.
