Advertisement for filling in Post of Legal Advisor on contract/deputation basis (Advt.No.02(M)/2011)

MAHAGENCO, the public sector entity owned by Govt. of Maharashtra, is the second largest power generation utility in the country having an installed capacity of 10500 MW. The Company is looking for experienced individual in the position of Legal Advisor on Contract/Deputation Basis. Applications are invited for the post of Legal Advisor on Contract/Deputation Basis on the following terms & conditions. Pre-requisites and other conditions : Qualification: Experience: Upper age limit: Degree or Post graduate Degree in Law from a recognized University. Should have worked in the capacity of District & Session Judge at least for a period of 3 years. Should not be more than 62 years of age.

Period of Contract: The period of contract will be of three years OR till attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. Pay scales and perquisites: The selected candidate will get emoluments in the pay scale of Rs.28700-123534875-1365-63540. plus 51% Dearness Allowance & other allowances as applicable to the post. Besides, the candidate would be entitled to other facilities like car conveyance, cell phone etc. for official use. The accommodation can be provided, if available. In case accommodation is provided, HRA would not be paid and license fee as per rules will be deducted. 2. No. of vacancies: Open-01 This vacancy is at Corporate Office, Mumbai. 5.1 The details of interview schedule will be communicated to the short listed candidates by e-mail, telephonically. 5.2 The list of applicants short listed for selection process will be made available on the website of the Company. Similarly, the list of finally selected candidates will also be displayed on the website. 5.3 The short listed candidates will have to appear for the Personal Interview at their own cost.
