With reference to our academic curriculum, we, the BS Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE) students of this university are currently enrolled with our subject ECE 198 ECE Laws, Ethics, Trips and Seminars this semester. And one of its requirements is the conduct of an Educational Field Trip. As planned and agreed by our class, the identified destination for our field trip is Cebu City. We chose Cebu City because it is settled with Multinational Semiconductor and Electronics Companies like Timex Philippines Inc., Fairchild Semiconductors Philippines, Lear Corporation, Lexmark Philippines and Cebu Mitsumi which we plan to visit. The said trip/tour will permeate us to get acquainted and expose with our filed of endeavor particularly in manufacturing, production lines, processing and equipment maintenance. It will also help us for future job opportunities and employment. In the process of our negotiation with the aforesaid companies, according to them, they can give us accommodation and they will allow us to visit their plants/firms only by the month of March due to their inscribed company rules. With this, we would like to plea for permission allowing us to have our Educational Field Trip on March 3-7, 2010. Rest assured that all the requirements and norms for such activity will be properly conformed. Attached herewith are our parents consents and the scheduled activity for the trip. We look forward for your approval for this request and we hope that you are with us in our goal to be outfitted with the things that we get from the trip. Thank you so much and more power!
