Candidates who have been allotted a seat and reporting for admission to B.E. and B. Arch programmes at BIT Mesra, through CCB 2011, should note the following: (A) The admission to the above programmes will be as per CCB guidelines from 18-21 July 2011 (9:00am to 5:00pm on each day) (B) Candidates are required to carry the following documents at the time of reporting for admission at BIT Mesra: 1. Provisional admission letter or receipt letter issued at the Reporting Centre (applicable to only those who had reported at Reporting Centres in earlier rounds) 2. Original documents (i) Admit Card of AIEEE 2011 (ii) Rank Card of AIEEE 2011 (iii) Pass Certificate of Class 10 (as proof of date of birth) (iv) Mark Sheet of Class 10 (v) Pass Certificate and Marksheet of Class 12 / qualifying examination. (vi) Caste Certificate (if applicable) in proper format signed by appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO (vii) Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PH) if applicable - in proper format, as given by CCB, from appropriate authority. (viii) School / College Leaving Certificate (ix) Migration Certificate (x) Passport, if the candidate has passed the qualifying examination from outside India; this is required for determining the 'State from which eligible'. (xi) Proof of place of examination Center of the final examination from the National Open School for candidates having Senior Secondary Certificate; this is required for determining the 'State of Eligibility'. (xii) One set of self-attested copies of all the documents listed above. (xiii) Two passport size photographs identical to the one pasted on the AIEEE 2011 application form. 3. Demand drafts towards admission fee (for details, please see below)

Note: If the original certificates are not in Hindi / English, duly certified Hindi / English version / translation of such certificates will be required.

Notes: 1. Hostel mess charges at Mesra will range from approximately Rs. 1,500/- to Rs. 2,500/per month. Students at Mesra will be required to deposit Hostel Caution Money* (One Time only - Refundable) of Rs.5,000/- . They will also be required to pay suitable mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which will be adjusted against their mess charges. For the July 2011 session, this mess advance* will be Rs. 10,000/-. *Hostel Caution Money (One Time only - Refundable) and Hostel Mess Advance (each semester) are payable by crossed Demand Draft in favour of BIT Hostels Mess Account payable at Ranchi. 2. All other fees must be paid by crossed Demand Draft in favour of Birla Institute of Technology payable at Ranchi. 3. Students will be expected to provide themselves with stationery and textbooks, etc, as prescribed for different subjects. 4. The Institute reserves the right to revise the fees and other charges at any stage. 5. For rules regarding refund of fees on withdrawal, please see separate Notice on Notice Boards.
