Enumeration Book No. 1: The Parish of Abbey St. Bathans is bounded on the North by the Parishes of Innerwick and Oldhamstocks in Haddingtonshire and Cockburnspath in Berwickshire; on the East by that detached portion of Oldhamstocks Parish which lies in Berwickshire, and by Coldingham Parish; on the South by Buncle Parish, a detached portion of Longformacus Parish and Dunse Parish, and on the West by Longformacus Parish. 32 inhabited houses; 2 uninhabited houses. Population: 76 males; 70 females; Total 146
