1. Qualifications& Experience: (i) (a)

Desirable: Teaching experience at UG and PG level in the field of specialization.

Five-year of Teaching/Research/Extension experience in the subject concerned at the level of Associate Professor/Equivalent position. Desirable: Teaching experience at UG and PG level in the field of specialization.

For the Post of Assistant Professor: teaching/research/extension.

(a) Ph.D. in the subject concerned or M.Sc. in subject concerned with two-year experience in (b) Desirable: Teaching experience at UG and PG level in the field of specialization. 2. Terms and Conditions:(i) (ii) (iii) (iv)
The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contract basis for a period up to 29th February 2012. The contract may be extended as per requirements of the university. The main responsibility of the recruited faculty will be teaching of UG and PG Courses, development of course curriculum and establishment of laboratories. The additional duties in research, extension, administration, etc. will have to be performed as and when assigned by the competent authority. Reservation Rules issued by State Government of U.P. will be applicable. The claimant for reservation must furnish the certificate as applicable, issued by the competent authority of Govt. of U.P. University reserves the right to fill/unfill any of posts (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) in any of the 14 disciplines listed in Advertisement No. 01/2011 without assigning any reason. The last date for receiving the applications in the university office is 28th July 2011. The applications received after the last date shall stand rejected. Applicants should clearly note that the University will, in no case, be responsible for non receipt of their applications and any delay in receipt thereof on any account.

No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview. The contract may be finished at anytime without prior notice. Any dispute related to this regard will be within the jurisdiction of the District Court, Banda.

3. Emoluments:The remuneration payable during the engagement period of the faculty members for different posts will be as under(a) For the post of Professor Rs 47,500/- p.m. (Fixed) Rs 40,000/- p.m. (Fixed) Rs 25,000/- p.m. (Fixed)

(b) For the post of Associate Professor (c) For the post of Assistant Professor OR

In case of retired teachers, if the amount of last pay drawn at the time of retirement minus pension presently received is less than the above-given fixed amount, then that amount will be paid.

Processing Fee:Application processing fee in the shape of a bank draft of Rs 1000 (Rupees one thousand only) for General & OBC candidates and of Rs 500 (Rupees five hundred only) for SC/ST candidates in favour of Comptroller, Manyawar Sri Kanshiram Ji University of Agriculture & Technology, Banda U.P., payable at State Bank of India, Banda is essential.
