BowinghisheadinobeisancebeforethefeetoftheBuddha,Anandastoodupandsaidtothe buddha,'WorldHonoredOne,TheyaremanymonksresidinginRajarihawhoaresufferingfrom cancerousdiseasesandasaresulthavebecomethinandweak.Theyarelivinginconstantpainand aretormentedbythesedeseasesdayandnight. WorldHonoredOne,isthereawaytocurethesediseases? The Buddha Said to Ananda, 'Listen to this sutra of Curing Malignant Tumors and Hemorrhoids.Readandreciteit,acceptandupholdit.Memorizeitwellandpropagateitfarand wide.Thesetumorsandhemorrhoidswillberemoved.TumorsFormedfrominternalwind,heat (disorder),Blooddisorder,combinationofwind,headandblooddisorder,bleedinghermorrhoid, stomachcancer,nasalcavityandparanasalsinuscancer,oralcancer,tonguecancer,eyecancer,ear cancer,headcancer,armandfeettumor,spinalcordcancer,rectaltumorandhermorrhoid,tumors orsarcomasarisingfromtheskeletalandconnectivetissues. SuchTumorswillfalloffupondryingandthusbeeliminated.Alldiseasesshallbecured.Thus, recitethismagicalmantra.TheMantra: "TadyataAlanteAlameSribiSiliSiliMahasijiSambobatoSvaha." (transliterareperomnete:

    'Ananda!Northfromhere,thereisahugesnowmountainwherethisphalasatreecalledSudurjaya( DifficulttoConquer)Grows.Ithasthreetypesofflowers.Oneisearlybloom.Second,FullBloom, andthird,Wrinkled.Likewise,themonksillnessesshalldryupandfalloffliketheflowers.The blood shall stop bleeding and you shall find no pus. The monks' suffering and pain shall be eliminatedandTheyshallrecovercompletely.Thisisduetotheactionofdryingupthetumors.' 'Ifyourecitethissutraconstantly,youshallgaintheknowledgeofrecollectingseven(7)ofyour pastlives,thusachivingattainmentofthemantra.Svaha'. Thus,Anothermantra: TadyataJarmiJarmiSajamiSamaniSajaniSvaha. When the Buddha Had finished expounding this sutra, Ananda and the other members of the assemblywerefiledwithjoy,andtheybelievedandaccepteditandrespectfullyputitintopractice.
