All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. The Most Kind, the Most Merciful. 3 The Master of Judgement Day. 4 You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help. 5 Guide us to the straight path. 6 The path of those whom You have bestowed your favours upon, not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who go astray.
All that is on earth will perish, But will remain the Face of your Lord, the Owner of Majesty and Glory. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Whoever is in the heavens and the earth entreats Him. Every day He attends to a matter. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Soon We will attend to you, O you two burdens! So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? O assembly of jinn and men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and earth, then pass. You cannot pass except by authority. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Against you will be sent a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? When the heaven is split asunder and it becomes rose-colored like murky oil. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Then on that Day neither man nor jinn will be asked about his crime. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? The criminals will be known by their marks and will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? This is Hell which the criminals deny. They will go around between its flames and scalding hot water. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? But for him who fears standing before his Lord are two gardens. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Having branches. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? In both of them are two flowing springs. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? In each of them are pairs of every fruit. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? They will recline on couches whose inner linings are of brocade, and the fruit of both gardens will be within reach. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? In them will be maidens of modest gaze, whom no man or jinn has touched before. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? As if they were rubies and coral. So which of the favours of your Lord will you both deny? Can the reward for good be anything other than good? So which of the favours of your Lord will you both deny? And besides these two are two other gardens. So which the favours of your Lord will you both deny? Dark green. So which of the favours of your Lord will you both deny? In both of them are two springs gushing forth. So which of the favours of your Lord will you both deny? In both of them are fruits and date-palms and pomegranates. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? In them are good and beautiful maidens. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Pure companions reserved in pavilions.
So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Whom no man or jinn has touched before. Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Glory.
By the fig and the olive, And Mount Sinai, 3 And this city of security, 4 Verily We have created man in the best mould, 5 Then We reverted him to the lowest of the low, 6 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds, then for them is an endless reward. 7 What then, after this, causes you to deny the Judgment? 8 Is Allah not the Most Just of Judges?
The disbelievers from the People of the Book and the polytheists were to be abandoned until they received clear evidence 2 A messenger from Allah, reciting from purified scrolls, 3 Wherein are faultless writings. 4 And those who were given the Book did not became divided until after the clear evidence came to them. 5 And they were commanded nothing but this: To worship Allah with sincere faith, to be upright, to establish prayer, and to give alms, for that is true religion. 7 Indeed the disbelievers from the People of the Book and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, they will dwell therein for eternity. They are the worst of creatures. 8 Indeed those who believe and do righteous deeds are the best of creatures.
When the earth is shaken with violent oscillation, And she discharges her burdens, 3 And man cries out: 'What is the matter with her?' 4 On that day she will narrate her account, 5 For your Lord will have inspired her. 6 On that day people will come forth in varying groups to be shown their deeds, 7 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 8 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
By the steeds that run with heaving breath, Striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 3 Raiding at dawn, 4 Thereby raising clouds of dust, 5 Penetrating collectively into the centre of the enemy. 6 Indeed man is ungrateful to his Lord. 7 And indeed he is a witness to that. 8 And verily he is intense in his love of wealth. 9 Is he not aware of the Day when when the contents of the graves will be scattered, 10 And the secrets of the heart will be made apparent? 11 Verily their Lord is fully aware of them that Day.
By Time, Verily man is in loss, 3 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and enjoin each other to truth and patience.
Woe to every slandering backbiter! Who amasses wealth, and counts it over, 3 Thinking that his wealth would make him immortal. 4 By no means! Surely he will be cast into the crushing torment.
5 6
And what will explain to you what the crushing torment is? It is a fire of Allah kindled, 7 Which mounts up to the hearts. 8 Indeed, it will be vaulted over them 9 In extended columns.
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? Did He not foil their plan? 3 And He sent against them flocks of birds, 4 Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, 5 So He made them like eaten straw.
For the accustomed security enjoyed by the Quraysh, Their accustomed security in winter and summer journeys, 3 So let them worship the Lord of this House5, 4 The One who feeds them, saving them from hunger, and protects them from fear.
Have you seen the one who denies the Judgement? Then that is the one who thrusts away the orphan, 3 And does not feel obligated to feed the poor. 4 So woe to those who pray, 5 But are heedless of their prayers. 6 Those who engage in sanctimony, 7 And withhold even small kindnesses.
Say: 'O disbelievers! I do not worship what you worship. 3 And you are not worshipers of what I worship. 4 And nor will I be a worshiper of what you worship. 5 And nor will you be worshipers of what I worship. 6 For you is your religion, and for me is mine.'
When comes the help of Allah and victory, And you see people entering Allah's religion in crowds, 3 Then glorify your Lord with praise and seek His forgiveness. Indeed, he is ever accepting of repentance.
Perish the hands of Abu Lahab and perish he! Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 3 He will be burnt in a Blazing Fire, 4 And his wife shall carry the wood as fuel, 5 With a rope of palm fibre around her neck.
Say: 'He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternally Absolute. 3 He begets not, nor is He begotten. 4 And there is no equivalent to Him.'
Say: 'I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, From the evil of what He created, 3 And from the evil of darkness when it overspreads, 4 And from the evil of those who blow on knots, 5 And from the evil of the envier when he envies.'
Say: 'I seek refuge in the Lord of Mankind, The King of Mankind, 3 The God of Mankind, 4 From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, 5 Who whispers into the hearts of mankind, 6 Among the jinn and men.
