Jane and John loved to take walks at night. As they lived by the seaside, they often walked along the beach. One night, they were spotted by two robbers who were hiding behind some rocks. As they were walking on the sand, one of the robbers rushed to them and demanded that they handed over their watches and cash. He was arm d with a dagger. The other robber came from behind and hit John s back. John felt the pain on his back. Someone saw all this happening. It was the gardener who was working in a hotel nearby. He called out to the other hotel staff and soon they were all running towards Jane and John. The robbers, seeing this,dropped the watches and they ran for their lives. Jane told her rescuers, Thank you so much. I don t know what would have happened to us if you all had come along. From the night onwards, the couple did not take walks on the beach at night anymore.
