 Introduction

Welcome and what’s new.

G’day, and welcome to our product catalogue for 2007. We’ve got some exciting new
developments debuting in this year’s edition; the most important of these is undoubtedly the
Rose-Joint Linkage Headbail. This brilliant new product virtually eliminates the problem of
linkage wear whilst greatly improving the strength and performance of the Headbail; the rose
joints are also fully greasable through their self-contained grease nipple. It truly is an
oustanding innovation, and what’s more, they’re incorporated at no extra cost* on all crushes
with the Superlock Headbail.
Also appearing in the product line for the first time are: Flat Pack versions of the Custom and
Allrounder Crush models, a Hydra-Squeeze option for the Allrounder Crush and our new yellow
safety handles (which you’ll see on some crush images). In addition to that, check out page 23
which highlights some of our new product lines in the steel and fencing arena.
All in all, some pretty exicting innovations and additions to our award winning product range.
We hope you enjoy utilising these advances as much as we have enjoyed bringing them into
being.

 Ultimate EHD
The EHD Ultimate is Australia’s feedlot standard Cattle Crush. The EHD is
heavily engineered to withstand the rigours of everyday use. The sheer
size and strength of this unit will impress on its own. The EHD also comes
with a host of extras already fitted.

The RPM Ultimate Crush is the benchmark for heavy duty Cattle Crushes.
With its heavy gauge material, sound proofing to reduce noise, and the
option of a Hyrda-Lock squeeze, the Ultimate Crush is ideal for large scale
producers.

The RPM Allrounder Crush is Australia’s most popular parallel
squeeze crush. It’s ideal for medium to large producers who require
a robust, efficient and reliable squeeze crush at an affordable price.

 Custom
The RPM Custom Crush is the industry standard for a strong,
practical and affordable veterinary crush. The Custom Crush retains
the same headbail as its bigger brothers the Allrounder and Ultimate
and couples that with a durable RHS body. The basic features and strong
construction of the Custom Crush make it the ideal choice for farmers
who can work without a parallel squeeze unit.

The RPM Standard Crush is a unit designed for the small beef producer
or dairy farmer. The Standard’s basic vet crush features include the
concertina style headbail with front and rear operation.

 Compack
The RPM Compack Crush is a unit designed for the hobby farmer.
The Compack features a very basic body coupled with a concertina
style headbail. This crush is ideal for farmers who require a very
simple unit to make handling small herds easier.

The Superlock & The Concertina
Now both with the proven Power-lock Linkage system -
More power and easier to use!
The Superlock - A straight action roller headbail
incorporating speed, strength and simplicity; this headbail will cater
for just about any purpose. It is also available in an extra heavy
duty version for feedlot style operations. (see image centre bottom)
The Concertina - This headbail has a unique folding action which
provides a quick catching stroke and the rounded profile of the door
sections allows good access behind the head for dehorning etc...

 Calf Cradle
The RPM Calf Cradle is designed to make calf handling easier on the
back and on the hip pocket. The unit is safe and efficient for both
animal and operator. The table style design allows for quick catching
and rolling over to a comfortable working height. The Calf Cradle also
utilises the Hydra-Lock technology as its locking device, which allows
for infinite tension adjustment and a whisper quiet action.

The Calf Cradle has three optional extras which are shown in the

 Curved Force and Race
The RPM Curved Force & Race is a proven winner when it comes
to improving cattle flow and handling efficiency. The design offers
superior strength through the 50NB panels which are the major
component of the force and race.
The Curved Force & Race with its unique brake-gate locking system
allows the operator to work groups of animals around the force and up
the race from behind the safety of the 3 metre forcing gate.
This design is fast, efficient and helps maintain a continuous flow of
cattle to the crush.

 Deluxe Loading Ramp
The Deluxe Ramp - is a 4.3 metre fixed height ramp with a hardwood floor,
1.3 metre flat load section, walkway with handrail and side access/block-
off gate; designed for larger yard systems with the ability to load at truck
height. This ramp is made in a unique pin-together style for easy
assembly and freight reducing purposes.

 Yard Systems
The RPM Yard System range is designed to cater for every need. The
yards are made from strong galvanised material in three different steel
sections: 50x50 RHS, 71x44 Oval Rail and 50NB Pipe.

Pictured below and on the facing page is just a sample of our standard
yard designs. RPM also offers the service of customised yard designs
which can be tailored to suit our clients’ specific needs.

EHD Air-Hydra & Accessories
RPM’s award-winning Air-Hydra Crush is the most innovative, cost-effective and simple to use
crush on the market today. Thanks to its unique Hydra-Lock technology, cattle handling with
the Air-Hydra Crush is as easy as the push of a button.
Air-powered brake servos are fitted to the head bail, squeeze and rear door of the crush and
these can all be operated from a centrally located control panel. The control panel can either
be mounted on a swing arm that moves for optimal positioning, or on a fixed pedestal. In the
event of a power failure, the machine can also be operated manually. Labour costs are
significantly reduced with the Air-Hydra Crush because the control panel enables one worker
to perform the tasks that would normally require two or three. On its debut, the Air-Hydra Crush
won the 2001 Australian National Field Day “Kondinin Group - Award of Excellence” and “The
Land - Machine of the Year” awards.

3 Way Air Drafter perfectly compliments the
Air-Hydra crush as an in-line race drafter,
further reducing your need for extra labour.
The Air Drafter can be operated manually
from a seperate control stand or the controls
can be mounted on the Air-Hydra’s swing arm
for the ultimate in convenience. Also, the Air
Drafter comes in an ‘auto’ version for drafting
by weight.
(Available in 3, 4 & 5 way draft models)

The Head Access Module is another

outstanding RPM product which makes a
great addition to any race set-up. The Head
Access Module (shown on the right in closed
position and below in open position) allows
the operator complete, unimpeded access to
the head of the animal without the danger of
obtrusive upright posts. It’s perfect for work-
ing on the head of the animal when
ear-tagging, de-horning, dosing, etc, etc.
