A campus with a wealth of opportunities best describes Regents College. Not only is it one of the few colleges that has a campus in central London, but its prime park location makes it easy for students to explore one of the worlds most entertaining cities from dusk to dawn. Baker Street tube station, which is only a 5-minute walk away, links students to major sites and attractions in London and adventurous types can take the train to other major European cities. London is a city of colours and contrasts, of ancient history and 21st century modernity, a melting pot of the worlds cultures and nationalities. Since the Romans founded Londinium in AD60, London has grown and prospered to establish itself as the largest, most exciting city in Europe. With a population of 7 million, 30% of whom are of overseas descent, London is one of the biggest and most ethnically diverse cities in the world, with around 200 languages spoken within its confines. The countrys news and money are made here, and many of the biggest multinational companies in the world are based in Londons financial district.
Londons museums and galleries several of them ranking amongst the worlds finest are full of treasures trawled from Europe and beyond. Monuments from the capitals more glorious past, from medieval banqueting halls to the great churches of Sir Christopher Wren, stand alongside modern wonders such as the Tate Modern. For entertainment, London is truly unsurpassed. London caters for all shopping tastes, from lively markets in Portobello Road and Camden Town, to expensive boutiques and world renowned department stores such as Harrods and Selfridges. There are hundreds of nightclubs, restaurants and theatres to choose from, as well as the many London pubs which are renowned for their character and bonhomie. As the home of the Royal Opera House, Royal Albert Hall and London Symphony, there are facilities for every kind of music lover. Contrary to popular belief, London need not be an expensive place to live. The citys huge student population means that there is plenty of good value accommodation to be found in the capital and many shops and attractions offer student discounts. From Michelin starred restaurants to all-youcan-eat Indian buffets, there is a restaurant to suit every pocket in London.

I was attracted to come back to RBS London to do a Masters for a number of reasons - the specialisation of the course in entrepreneurship and the opportunity to top-up my programme with a Webster University MBA. This Masters programme has been both challenging and fun - and I have enjoyed a number of additional activities outside the curriculum. In our 1st semester, a group of us entered the Universities Business Challenge, sponsored by IBM. This was an outstanding experience, combining the pressure of working under time constraints while harnessing the strengths of all the team-members to make an efficient group. It is an excellent addition to my CV and has been a useful talking point at interviews. Christians career preferences are consultancy or marketing, with particular emphasis towards e-commerce.

Module descriptions
Action Learning Week The MA programme begins with a comprehensive Action Learning Week which introduces students to learning styles, group working, the teaching programme and skills module.
Managing Processes This module explores Operations Management - the management of activities by firms that produce goods or deliver services. In addition to learning about the concepts of operations, you will gain knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, outsourcing IT in operations, capacity planning & control and operations strategy in a global context.
Finance for Managers As accounting and finance provide the main tools to measure the success or failure of any commercial enterprise, it is clearly an advantage for all business graduates to understand the cost and revenue flows, which underpin business activity. This module assumes no prior knowledge of finance and covers Financial Accounting, the Financial Environment and Management Accounting. You will develop skills in financial planning and control, in analysing and interpreting company accounts and utilise this knowledge to make business decisions.
Globalisation The introductory Globalisation module sets the context for the programme and provides integrative links to other modules. It provides an understanding of the concepts associated with the changing global business environment and aims to develop a critical perspective of globalisation and its impact on markets, organisations and people.
Managing HR in a Global Business Environment Many managers would argue that people, and how they are managed at work are the only real basis for competitive advantage. The increasingly global and competitive business environment means that managers need to be familiar with the structure and operations of organisations and have a sound understanding of the ways in which people respond to working in groups. This module develops your underpinning knowledge and skills for independent thinking about the management of people and issues of organisational behaviour.
