Who is Jesus? Read Matthew 16:13-17 and John 5:17-19 and John 10:22-42 and Matthew 26:63-68 and Matthew 8:28-29 and Luke 22:70-71 and Romans 1:3-4 and Philippians 2:5-7.

He was possessed by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.

He was a good man, but nothing else.

He is the Son of God. He is the Christ, the Messiah. He is God.

In order to see the kingdom of God... Read John 3:1-8.

I must confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.

I must accept or receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord, or make a decision for Christ.

I must pray the sinner's prayer.

Jesus says I must be born again. I must be born of the Spirit. Being born again is a spiritual rebirth.

Why do I need to be born again? Read Ezekiel 18:4 and Ephesians 2:1-2 and Ephesians 2:5.

Because before God saves me, I am spiritually dead. God says that the soul who sins will die. Before being born again, God says I was dead in my trespasses and sins. Because of my sin, I am spiritually dead; my soul is dead. I can not see the kingdom of God unless I am born again.

I am a good person. I do not see any reason to be "born again".

I was already born once. I am alive. I can walk and talk and think and reason. So, why do I have to be born again? I am already alive!

Is spiritual death real? Can I be physically and mentally alive if my soul is dead? Read Genesis 2:16-17 and Genesis 3:1-7.

No. I am already alive. I can walk and talk and think and reason. I am a sentient being.

Yes. In the day that Adam and Eve ate from the tree, they did not physically or mentally die. Yet God told them that in the day that you eat from it you will surely die. When they sinned, they died spiritually; their soul died. But they still had the breath of life inside them, so they remained alive both physically and mentally.

No. My soul is tied to my body. As long as my body is alive, then my soul is alive.

How do I become born again? Read Colossians 2:11-13 and Ezekiel 36:24-27 and Matthew 1:21 and John 5:25.

Only God can give me spiritual rebirth. Only God can put a new heart and a new spirit within me. Salvation is entirely the Work of God. Just as God determines everything about my physical birth, so He determines everything about my spiritual rebirth.

I do not need to be born again. I am already alive!

I can do it myself. All I have to do is accept Jesus, or believe on Jesus, or receive Jesus, or make a decision for Christ, or pray the sinner's prayer.

My pastor or priest does it for me. They pray for me. And God answers their prayer. Surely God would not say "no" to a pastor or priest, would He?

Go to church.

Can anyone become saved? Read John 6:44 and John 6:65 and John 10:26-29 and Romans 8:28-30 and Ephesians 1:3-6.

Yes. All I have to do is accept Jesus, or believe on Jesus, or receive Jesus, or make a decision for Christ, or pray the sinner's prayer.

No. God is in control of my salvation. No one can come to Jesus unless it has been granted him from the Father and unless the Father draws him. Unsaved people are dead in their sins, and they are completely at the mercy of God.

Yes. All I have to do is go to church and be a good person.

Don't I contribute something to my salvation? Like my faith? Read Ephesians 2:1-9 and Romans 3:9-18 and Romans 10:17.

No. I do not contribute anything to my salvation. Salvation is by grace...God's grace. Faith is a gift of God. Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Yes. My faith saves me. Without my faith, God can not save me.

Yes. Salvation is a free gift from God. It's a gift. Like any gift, I have to take it, receive it, and open it. I must do something to be saved.

Yes. Salvation is like a two-party check. God signed it, but I also have to sign it. If I don't sign it, then I won't be saved. God did His part, but the rest is up to me.

Can't I do something good? Read John 8:34 and Romans 3:10-12 and Romans 3:23 and Mark 10:18 and Isaiah 64:6.

Yes. I keep the Ten Commandments.

Yes. I do good deeds all the time. As a matter of fact, most of the things I do are good. I don't sin very much.

No. God says that all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment to Him. There is none who does good; there is not even one.

Can't I just read the Bible and learn the Truth and become saved? Read Proverbs 2:6 and 1 Corinthians 1:18-21, 2:14; and Mark 4:11-12, 4:33-34; and Isaiah 55:9 and John 14:26, 16:25-29.

No. The Bible is God's Word. Only God can give me understanding. Only the Holy Spirit can teach me. The Bible is foolishness to the unsaved. A spiritually dead person can not understand the Bible, because the Bible is a spiritual book.

Yes. I am alive. I can think and reason. I am a sentient being. If I want to, I can read the Bible and figure it out for myself and be saved.

No. I must go to church to learn about the Bible. My pastor or priest will tell me what I need to know.

Do most people go to Heaven? Read Matthew 7:13-14 and Romans 9:25-28 and Romans 11:1-5.

Yes. God is merciful. Only the really bad people do not go to Heaven.

No. In comparison to the number of unsaved people, few people go to Heaven.

11

If God is in control of my salvation, then can I be held accountable for my sins? Read Romans 3:9-18 and Romans 9 and Acts 17:30- 31.

No. If I can not save myself, then God can not hold me accountable for my sins. I must have a way to choose the right thing; otherwise, it just isn't fair.

Yes. I am spiritually dead because of my sin. God did not sin for me. Only God can deliver me from my sins. Only God can make me alive again. Judgment Day is real and fast approaching. God will judge the world in righteousness through Jesus.

12

No. There is no Judgment Day. God is love. God is merciful.

What if God decides not to save me? Read John 8:21-24 and Ezekiel 18:4 and Romans 6:23.

13

Then I will still go to Heaven as long as I have done good deeds and/or gone to church.

Then I will go to Purgatory.

Then I will go to Hell.

Then I will die in my sin. So, I will be dead physically and spiritually. I will be dead...both body and soul.

Then I will still go to Heaven if I have accepted Jesus, or believed on Jesus, or received Jesus, or made a decision for Christ, or prayed the sinner's prayer.

Does Hell (or Hades) exist? Read 2 Peter 2:4 and Revelation 20:14.

Yes. And it is where God cast the fallen angels and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment. On Judgment Day, God will destroy Hell by throwing it into the lake of fire, which is the second death.

14

No.

Yes. And it is where the unsaved go when they die.

Will I go to Hell if I die unsaved? Read John 8:21-24 and Ezekiel 18:4 and Romans 6:23 and John 5:28-29 and Acts 24:15 and Matthew 26:64.

15

Yes.

No. If I die unsaved, I will die in my sin...both body and soul. The next thing I will experience is the resurrection of judgment and Judgment Day.

But what about verses that seem to teach that the unsaved go to Hell? Read Luke 16:19-31 and Matthew 5:29-30 and John 21:22-23 and Matthew 10:28.

Those verses are misunderstood or misused. Jesus is teaching in parables, and He is speaking in such a manner as to confuse those who are not His people. Jesus never actually says that the unsaved are cast into Hell to be tormented forever. God is merciful.

16

Those verses must be wrong.

I think those verses teach that unsaved people go to Hell.

If I am unsaved, after I die physically, will I ever come back from the dead? Read John 5:28-29 and Acts 24:15 and Revelation 20:11-15.

17

No. I am not really dead. My soul will be in Hell.

No. I am dead...both body and soul.

Yes. I will be raised from the dead by God to experience the resurrection of judgment and Judgment Day.

What will happen to me on Judgment Day if I am unsaved? Read Matthew 25:31-46 and John 5:28-29 and Acts 24:15 and Revelation 20:11-15.

In the end, God is really going to let everyone go to Heaven.

I will experience the resurrection of judgment, I will be judged, I will be found guilty, and then I will be cast into Hell to be tormented forever and ever.

18

I will experience the resurrection of judgment, I will be judged, I will be found guilty, and I will be thrown into the lake of fire, which is the second death. I will be dead once and for all...eternally dead...never to rise again.

Is Satan real? Read Genesis 3 and Job 1 and Matthew 4:1-11 and Luke 22:31-32 and 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 and Revelation 12:9-11 and Revelation 20.

19

No.

Yes. God describes Satan as an angel of light. Satan quoted the Word of God (in context) when he tempted Jesus in the wilderness.

Is it possible for me to think that I am saved when in fact I am unsaved? Read John 1:9-13 and Matthew 13:1-23 and Matthew 7:21-23 and Luke 16:16.

No. If I do something to be saved, then I will be saved (like accept Jesus, or believe on Jesus, or receive Jesus, or make a decision for Christ, or pray the sinner's prayer).

20

No. If I live my life like a saved person, then God will save me. If not, that would be really unfair.

Yes. Separately, in both John 1 and Matthew 13, God describes 4 types of conversions (3 false and 1 true). Jesus says that everyone is forcing his way into Heaven, but everyone won't make it. Jesus says that many will call him Lord, but He will reject them.

What about those verses that seem to teach that I must do something to be saved? Read Matthew 19:16-26 and John 3:16 and Romans 10:8-10 and John 6:28-29.

Those verses must be wrong.

Those verses are misunderstood or misused. Salvation is entirely the Work of God. After God performs the miracle of salvation in my life, only then can (and will) I believe on Jesus or receive Jesus. Before God saves me, I will reject God and His Truth because I am spiritually dead.

21

Those verses are true and other Bible verses must be wrong. The Bible contradicts itself.

If I am saved, after I die physically, what happens? Read Luke 23:39-43 and 2 Corinthians 5:8 and Acts 7:54-60 and Mark 12:26-27 and Matthew 17:1-7.

22

Nothing. I am dead. There is no Heaven. There is no Hell.

I go to Heaven.

Is there any hope that God may save me? Read Ephesians 2:8-9 and Romans 10:17 and Isaiah 55:6-7 and Isaiah 66:2; and 2 Corinthians 6:2 and Psalm 34:18, 40:1-4, 51:17, 145:8-13, and 146:5-6.

No.

Yes. But I was saved in a different way. I accepted Jesus, or I believed on Jesus, or I received Jesus, or I made a decision for Christ, or I prayed the sinner's prayer; or I did something else to be saved.

Yes. God has truly saved me. Or, if He hasn't saved me yet, today is still the day of salvation; God may still perform His saving work in my life when He is ready to do so.

23

No. If God does all the saving, then there is no hope for me.

If I want to be saved, what should I do? Read Isaiah 55:6-7, 66:2; Psalm 34:18, 40:1-4, 51:17, 119:9, 119:105, 145:8-13; Lam. 3:22-26; Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21.

Talk to my family or friends.

Go to church.

Based on this quiz, it seems that there is no hope for me.

I want to be saved. I will take matters into my own hands, because I don't know if God will save me or not. So, I will accept Jesus, or I will believe on Jesus, or I will receive Jesus, or I make a decision for Christ, or I pray the sinner's prayer; or I will do something else to be saved. And then I will go to church and live a good life according to what I read in the Bible.

Repent of my sins. Pray to God. Humble myself before God. Seek God by reading God's Word, the Bible. Wait on God, and trust in Him to save me, if He desires to do so.

24

Talk to my pastor or priest.

What if my church does not teach the Truth? Read Matthew 24:14-16; Mark 7:7; Luke 21:21-22; John 8:44; 2 Thess. 2:1-4; 1 Timothy 4:1-3; 2 Timothy 3:1-7, 4:3-4; Hebrews 10:23-25; 1 Peter 4:17.

Leave the church. Find or start a home gathering with a group of like-minded Christians in your area. Remember, when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he used God's Word. A church that teaches lies is a church that worships and follows Satan, who is the father of lies.

Go to church anyway.
