Mr. Good was a critical member of the team that designed and created the Gladius by Night-Ops / Blackhawk Products Group. The Gladius is multi-function LED flashlight, a ground breaking illumination tool designed for Military, Law Enforcement and Security use. Mr. Good is listed on the design patent for this device, United States Patent 7,281,815 During this timeframe, Mr. Good authored a ground-breaking publication: Law Enforcement Officers Guide to Low Light Engagements. Supervise an instructor staff consisting of up to (12) military members and (3) GS-11 civilians. Direct the conduct of Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) deployed to Guam, Hawaii, Japan and numerous U.S. ports. Directs the operations of courses reaching audiences exceeding 3,000 personnel per year. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE S Delivery of instruction involving anti-terrorist and counter-terrorist situations, hostage procedures, bomb search, nuclear weapons security, rules of engagement and use of deadly force, defector/refugee/disaster survivor procedures, protection of classified material, training and employment of security force resources onboard ships, detailed and specialized small arms familiarization, maintenance and marksmanship, state of the art tactical techniques, maneuver and stress firing techniques. Perform duties as range master, coach/instructor, and other duties normally found at a small arms fire range. Provide instruction in non-lethal force, handcuffing, and crowd control techniques. Design, develop, update, and improve existing course content based on own research, feedback from students or their commands, and as directed by higher authority (includes continuing review of weapons utilization techniques). Develop new lesson plans, including the complete development of new courses of instruction. Conduct task analysis to determine required subject matter development, instructional objectives, and lesson plans.

JOB SUMMARY Duties involved the knowledge and use of Naval Special Warfare small unit tactics, small arms, weapons, demolitions, and pyrotechnics to ensure constant combat readiness, As a SEAL member, I was responsible for maintaining a high level of physical fitness needed to successfully operate on Land, Sea and Airborne operations. Parachuting (Free fall and Static Line, Closed and open circuit SCUBA diving are essential aspects of this duty. Training in communications, long-range patrol, smallunit tactics, first-aid, unconventional warfare, submarine operations, small boat operations, intelligence gathering, extreme environment survival, tactical weapons and demolition, shipboard penetration, shipboard security are some of the varied components of NAVAL Special Warfare. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE S Responsible for conducting and administering small arms and small unit tactics training. This training includes classroom, lecture and practical presentations and demonstrations. Supervise range evolutions, overall range safety, weapons instruction as well as tactical training mission planning. Review and modify training methods, training schedules, training equipment and aids to meet demanding requirements. Survey and schedule training facilities for operational platoon members to conduct small arms training, special warfare operations. Designed combat rifle\pistol\shotgun course of fire. Selected proper instructional methods and techniques to insure proper overall safety and effective learning. Served as liaison representative for NAVAL Reserve SEAL 1/3/5 ordnance department and Active Duty Special warfare community to ensure operational compatibility. Currently assigned to SEAL Team 5 Reserve Training Cell. Responsible for the development, coordination and administration of training for all Naval Special Warfare operators assigned to SEAL Team 5 Reserve.

This training included a variety of environments including, mountain, jungle and maritime as well as Close Quarters Battle. Administered, designed and implemented curriculum adopted by SEAL TEAM ONE Training Department for the proper use and employment of sniper qualified personnel in various combat environments. Designed, organized, conducted instruction and training to Special Forces, Foreign nationals often with the use of an interpreter, in the use of weapons and their tactical employment including .45cal, .38cal. 9mm pistols, M-60 machine gun, M-16, M-14, M79 & M203 grenade launchers, shotgun, various sniper rifles as well as mines, booby traps, mortars, rockets and various sub-machine guns. These training periods included 10-50 individuals from various countries such as Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, and Malaysia, ranking from E-1 to O-7.
