Trust) KMS Bethel School of Music and Fine Arts (registered trust) is a non profit organization catering to education of Eastern and Western style classical music. This is to create better knowledge and understanding of music and serve people in the field of fine art socially, educationally and physically. KMS Bethel School of Music is not like any other music school. It is different from other schools from the standard of tutoring. This is applicable in symphony orchestra based musical instruments such as piano, strings, woodwind/brass & percussion instruments, electronic musical instruments and vocal classes in western classical and classical Indian styles. Western classical music is a very interesting stream of music. Through dedication and hard work, orchestra style of playing music can be learnt by youngsters. Presently, there is a perception that classical western music is too distant and esoteric for them. We want to teach young musicians how to play within an orchestra. We want to build a repertoire of musicians who can play western instruments as expertly as the Sitar or Tabla. Our talented young musicians head for London to learn western classical music. We want to give a certain legitimacy to western classical music in our country. We think the time for India in the western world is now. KMS Bethel School of Music has dedicated teachers who provide each student individual attention. As a result of this personalized attention, more than 100 students have been trained since we started the school. As a result, newly joined students start to play the instruments very fast with great ease and fun. We train for London Board Examinations, Grade levels with Trinity School of Music, ABRSM. Classical Music can create new standards for musicians. Developing literacy with the tonal language forms a key part of a rounded education for performers, composers and listeners of all kinds. An understanding of how written symbols relate to the elements of music along with the skills to interpret and translate them into sounds empowers us to communicate and experience music in a meaningful way. It is impossible for classical musicians to access their repertoire with ease or to rehearse together without the knowledge of notation. This repertoire could not be heard at all if composers were ignorant about reading notation based music. So, music theory is a very practical subject that is completely entwined with performance and composition. KMS Bethel School of Dance & Performance Arpana Dance Studio uses various techniques from different forms of dance & choreography. This is spearheaded by Mrs. Sowmya. An Ideal Dance works as a culmination of consistent sincere learning. Young children and youth have been nurtured in this form of creative expression and come out as good dancers. Through this journey, she has carried this medium both Nationally and Internationally. K Moses Music: One of the gifts of God by which man can render praise and thanksgiving to his creator as well as give expression to his emotions, his joys and sorrows. Especially, singing and instruments has been prominent in the worship of "Almighty God". Greetings! It has been the seed of a musical gift from God, which is used in his ministry for God. Late Rev. K. Moses who was a very good singer served God and people for over 60 years. He was involved in charity since 1994 to uplift downtrodden children, destitute families and helping nearly 300 poor children. Families were helped in the fields of Education, Social Conditions, Spiritual Activities and also Arts through his charity works. This school of learning was established by Mr. K.Vinay Kumar Mathew in 2005. Musically gifted, he is the younger son of Rev. K. Moses. He efficiently is now poised to carry his fathers works further. His musical life started at the tender age of 5 by playing in the church. Years later as he grew, he developed musical knowledge professionally by doing musical courses in instrumental and vocal music under various gurus and doing live concerts. Thereby he gained immense musical knowledge. He has been involved in recording projects in association with professional musicians. He has been playing for more than 20 years and involved in teaching for the last 5 years. He has earnest desire to his musical thoughts with many people who would like to be a musician with the support & commitment of teachers, staff, volunteers, music lovers, cultural partners and associates. The Chatushshashti kalas i.e 64 Arts mentioned in ancient works include ordinary arts and fine arts. The Lalita kalas or fine arts appeal to the sense of beauty in us. Music appeals through the medium of the ear. Visual arts like Painting, Sculpture and Architecture appeal through the medium of the eye.

Music, Dancing, Kathakalakshepam, Drama, Opera and Dance-drama come under the heading of Performing Arts. Fine arts are important in promoting human culture and progress. They chasten the minds of people and help them to lead fuller and happier lives. They develop the sense of beauty. Better human beings and better society result by the promotion of the study of fine arts. Life will become dull, insipid, uninteresting and bereft of all charm if fine arts are not allowed to prosper and grow.
