SIRAJ, in Arabic, literally means lighted lamp; it is the only religious organization especially established for Muslim students in the university. This school year 2011-2012, you can let the light of this brotherhood even brighter by helping to fulfill its activities and programs, which are committed to the enrichment of the Islamic formation of the Muslim youth. In this view, we humbly ask your assistance in order to come up with the funds needed to carry out the said activities; any amount of donation from your part is deeply appreciated. Rest assured that the help you bequeath to SIRAJ will be used with the best of intentions, insha-Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone gives in charity something equal to a date from his honestly earned money--for nothing ascends to God except good--then God will take it in His Right (Hand) and bring it up for its owner as anyone of you brings up a baby horse, until it becomes like a mountain...Nothing ascends to God except good., Sahih Al-Bukhari. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala reward you for the generosity that you have portrayed and may He grant us understanding to the Deen, that is Islam, through to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu alayhi Wasallam.
