Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences was granted the status of a Deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of the recommendations of the University Grants Commission in 2005. It has been accredited by the National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC) in 2007 with A grade for a period of 5 years. It is the only Deemed University in this part of Maharashtra Since gaining the Deemed University status, this university has started many new courses including the Master in Hospital Administration & Management (MHA&M) during the academic session 2007-2008. We have successfully placed our two previous batches all over India at various corporate Hospitals. More recently, the other notable achievements of the University and its constituent colleges are: a) Recognition of the MBBS degree by the Sri Lanka Medical Council b) Gaining membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) c) Recipient of the Dr. BC Roy Award for Institutional Research d) The Medical College being named as a Nodal Centre for the Medical Faculty Development Programme by the Medical Council of India e) Signing an MOU with Centre of Medical Education, Bangladesh for starting a course in Medical Education

OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE

The main goal of this conference is to highlight & discuss the most important Cost saving Techniques as well as exploring relevant Cost saving models for the Hospitals of the future. This conference will provide a forum for exchange of ideas & important views by leading Hospital Administrators. CALL FOR POSTERS

Posters are invited on the above mentioned theme. Acceptance of the poster for presentation is entirely based on decision of scientific committee. We will have the Best Poster Award Competition at this conference. The award is designed to encourage & highlight the importance of cost savings in the hospitals. Guidelines for poster submission: The soft copy of poster should be mailed to : dmims.org@gmail.com The poster should reach latest by 4th December 2010 Acceptance will be informed through e- mail. Only registered candidates/ delegates will be allowed to participate. Note Poster size should be 90cm x 60cm & printed on Flex. Poster is to be presented on the Conference day.
