aving killed them in the battle-front, you have led even those hosts of enemies to heaven, and you have dispelled our fear from the frenzied enemies of the devas. Salutation to you!
Thus the supporter of the worlds was praised by the devas, worshipped with celestial flowers that blossomed in Nandana and with perfumes and unguents; and with devotion all of them offered her - heavenly incense. Benignly serene in countenance she spoke to all obeisant devas. O Mother of spotless countenance, and whatever mortal shall praise you with these hymns, may you, who have become gracious towards us, be also for his increase in this wealth, wife, and other fortunes together with riches, prosperity and life, O Ambika!'

It shows that he worshipped animals found in the environment from the fact that our Gods have vehicles in the form of an animal. It is astonishing to note that Sri Raja Durga Parameshwari is prowess enough to have all gods neglected animal say lion to be her vehicle. Lion is Majestic. It roars fierce fully. It is not afraid of anyone. It always follows certain self-settled rules. It attacks only one animal for its food. Never kill all animals. It will not eat the prey if it falls to its left on the attack. Pit eats the prey that falls to its right. The lion with these high qualities has four characteristics truth, discipline, meditation and mercy as feet. Hence it is called as the King of the forest. And Lion the king of animals is the vehicle of our Goddess. In this kaliyuga, Sri Jeya durga and Sri Rudraammsa durga appearing in this world in the form of Diyana Swaroopam keeps blessing her devotees in the name Sri Raja Durga..
