Circuits and Systems - Delft Institute of Microsystems and Nanoelectronics, TU Delft, Netherlands The work being carried out is revolutionary. The idea is to demonstrate the feasibility of a navigation system that is based on radio pulsars. Just as in GPS navigation where one makes use of satellites, I am building the navigation system using radio pulsars situated light years away. The proposed uses of such a navigation system are many. The work that has been done includes; dening the fundamentals, usage scenarios and SNR specications, selecting suitable DSP algorithms, constructing the system architecture, and dening the hardware prototype based on FPGAs. Another objective, which has been successfully completed, had been to rate the methodology of automatic RTL generation from Simulink models.

BTech. Project

01/2009-05/2009

Electronics Laboratory, Institut Suprieur dElectronique de Paris, France The project aimed at creating a real time digital transmitter and receiver section of a modem that uses the OFDM standard. The project involved both software and hardware aspects of an embedded design. After simulations for the transmitter and receiver in Matlab, a hardware realizable C code for modules such as the QAM demodulator was written towards programming the TI Digital Signal Processor. Following a selection amongst the available libraries for the FFT module implementation in the DSP target, a real time kernel for the modem was realized and tested in hardware. A throughput that was better by a factor of 4 as compared to a publication was achieved. Selected Projects ASIC design of the MB-LITE processor in 90 nm technology. Digital CMOS circuit design of a low power Thermometer to Binary decoder in 90 nm technology. A fast dierential MDAC amplier and switched capacitance network to meet strict SNR and THD specs.
